When you play in a competative sport sometimes during the season you graft your way into form. You get the neccesary wins. We have the personnel, we are tuning up. We are right in it.

We need a good tall in Defense, more so now since I watched Jake Lever present himself for many marks which he dropped last week. They than became leaked goals. I havent seen this mentioned but Im not one to scour through reviews. If we only play Tomlinson then we need good ground assists down back. McVee has been missing in comparison to the 1st couple of game but Im encouraged by Salem and Hibbo. Bowie goes missing. Id like to see Spargs tried there. I hope Petty comes back in defense for his solid marking, May IMHO has been very good but a lone pair of hands.

My understanding is that tears and strains are the same. But Mild Strains (Grade 1) are at least 3 weeks recovery.

If it is in the 50's or later that will mean Taylor just wont use it. I think JJ is worth much more, but its a weird system where we got much more for Chip Frawley than we deserved so swings and roundabouts.

The grounds DONT need to be as hard as they are. We dont need mud heaps like Moorabbin but neither do we need really hard grounds. They never used to be.

We have many new players now demanding a game at Demons and from watching yesterdays Casey match we have a few more that will be trying to get a game. We look well stocked. Even if a few left (Harmes, Laurie, Woey for example) for more games at a different club which is possible, we should consider combining our first pick (say 18) and the second Freo pick (say 21) for a future 1st with a club that we believe will have a top 8 pick, but thinks they are going to have a good season in 2024, maybe like Hawthorn. It spreads this harvest into the future.
