Brayshaw was very ordinary. He didnt hit hardly any targets and manages to get his kicks smothered very often. Id like to see this particular stat. It would be out of him and Tyson to see who gets smothered more. But I dont mind Dom's kicks being smothered, it creates a 50/50.

It seemed the only kicks that Tyson didnt send to an opponent were smothered. And yes, he looked surprised at the outcome of every [censored] single one.

Because of their pretty good ability to retain the footy in the middle, the Magpies have a tendency to hold possession switching across wings looking for an entry into the 50. If pressed they will bomb it in. If we play an extra mobile tall across CHB we should rebound ok. They also spend their tickets before half time. We do this as well but rekindle efforts in the last. So in my mind: We will be behind at half time and come back late in the 3rd. TMac and Omac to roam CHB and have lots of interceptions. Hunt and Salem get 20+ possessions feeding off the big Macs. Gawn and Tracc to still struggle as they are running out of puff. Pederson to be in the best especially in the ruck. Gawn to float down and kick a couple. Hogan to play more of a decoy. Watts on HFF and taking 10+ marks down the wing.

Its a puzzle but when its down to the wire, you put in your A-team. Its written on the wall of the change room after training. Talent talks. It was disappointing news for me but I got it. Talent cant be taught but it can be awakened. Time to fire up. Salem and Watts in, they must be burning for it. And yep they possibly dont deserve it but we must hit targets under pressure. We cant bank on outlasting opponents, we need to win it.

Is Sam still a Nights Watch? If so, he cant inherit. So then does that make his bastard "Little Sam" head of House Tarly? I read somewhere that Bastards can inherit if no other Legit progeny exits. Bugg and Ben Ken are both ideally placed to give Petracca a week off. He looks dispirited if he doesnt get a couple of touches early on in the game. Of course Im only observing from the sidelines, but I think he needs a week off to freshen up.

Where is it stated he is carrying an injury? or Multiple injuries? I havent seen that. I hope Watts plays and is fantastic. We need him right now, this weekend to help out. Just being not bad would put him in the top 20% of his best games. But if he is injured the club should say.

I think you need to accept when a player has more currency on the market than you think he will show in the following seasons. I believe Jesse Hogan and Jack Watts wont help us to play finals. Harsh on Hogan but plenty would pays overs. One or both should help get Lever and/or Kelly. Thats what we need even if the goal square looks forlorn, we do at least as well, it seems without them. And the possibility of getting an outside true A class mid and Lever is alluring.

I dont like this talk of what you can do on the street and compare it to the footy field. You couldnt kick a footy at a person on the street, it would be assault unless you were Dom Tyson, of course. You could hit someone.

He hasn't taken a clean ball in the games since returned from injury. It's not yesterday game on its own. It may be good for jack to have a break. I'm certain it would be good for MFC. This year he has currency. Just look at the manic contest today between eagles and saints. I can't see jack watts willing himself to stand up in a game like that. Yes he played hard a few times earlier this year but it isn't enough.
