Thanks Macca - really enjoyed Monsieur Spade.
  2. You have been asked by another poster where this is quoted from. I do appreciatre your work RIF but can you please elaborate?
  3. Curnow Walsh and Newman are either still injured or have had very little pre-season due to recovery. I'd say Carlton are off to a slow start this year. We have, fingers crossed about Max and Trac, our best 28 ready to go. We should be 1st tier, I hope.
  4. I set significant faith in excellent preseasons, recoveries from injury and fixtures. I think we are overs for the 8 @$3. Much water to pass under the bridge I admit.

When my son was 4 he said he wanted to barrack for that team that is so unlucky. He said he wated to follow Poor Adelaide because he was sorry for them. Happily the sudden halt of pancakes for breakfast soon put a stop to that [censored].
  6. We've now gone from $2.60 to make the 8 to $3. I dont understand but Im planning on covering next years membership with a smallish outlay. I honestly believe many players are looking to have a very good year. ##Dont Jinx our near perfect Pre-season##
  7. Id like Windsor to stay on the wing for the 1st 10 games or so. We have it seems many options leading into the season and Id like him to nail wing before having to step up. Like McVee, just do that voodoo that you do, well. Being good at it shouldnt mean you necessarily get moved.
  8. I really look forward to your rolling squads Werridee. An emoji just isnt enough sometimes. Thanks. But Id swap Tholstrup with Langford and Turner with McAdam.
  9. I had hopes Bowie might be tried out, but going by training reports, doesnt seem to have been in the forward line at all.
  10. I missed this. What is the issue with Disco please?

No contact for a couple of weeks, then light training through Feb. Thats probable for tracc. The thing is we have had a very good pre-season otherwise.
  12. I have no idea if McAdam is worth holding out hope for. Haven't seen training but seems he is still talented yet uncommitted. Would love to hear opinions.

    That comma is unnecessary.
  14. It's a bit sad to compare McAdam and fritta's intensity. I do hope Fritta comes out all guns blazing.
  15. To quote Seinfeld 'Now we're getting somewhere".

The old Western oval was almost rectangular IIRC

Projects have consultation, scope, risk assessment, timelines and budget. This "project" seems more and more like a cheech and chong record.

Im sure he hasnt yet spoken to a complacent blowhard.

We cant just have ovals, which now look compromised in design. We need offices which I had read were going to be in the accessible land on Booran Rd. There is/was no plan for them to be inside the track IMV for many reasons. One reason being you cannot use public land for offices. Second reason is accessibility. Its a small entrance to get inside the track. But Im not going to argue. Im just very disappointed but not surprised.

Please let me know what the actual [censored] range of information is that you are referring to? It was critical that at the start of this investigation, cost and scope of this project that we were to be in close consultation with the MRC. Mt Scopus has guzumped us and no one had it on their radar. Im normally a happy clapper like most of you but in my work I train people how to run projects using IT. But scope costings, research and risk assessment are primary work for a project team. This looks to me as if it is just hope and intention around a couple of beers. As Billy Bob thornton says, hold out one hand for hope and the other for [censored] and see which one fills up first.

I agree. Where was the Risk assessment that this might happen? Where was the tested plan and consultation with MRC? The project is well under way, well that is what I hadunderstood. Now it really looks like no one will take responsibility for this seemingly utter stuff up.
  22. Anyone know how long before Lever joins normal training? it does seem he stays in rehab longer than many, when injuried.
  23. Thanks track watchers. This has brightened my day!

Gee, Hassa's old number... If the great man isnt available, Andrew Obst was a fantastic player. 29 is a highly respected MFC number.
