If PA stick with them they will outlast the Cats who look to be putting in a lot more, in the 1st half.- NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Its a good game.- Farewell Luke Jackson
I lived for 5 years in WA and I got homesick. Put a sock in it for gods sake Kick-it- Farewell Luke Jackson
...and if he stays watch me laud him as the best thing since sliced bread.- Farewell Luke Jackson
Im one of few who dont believe the hype regarding Jackson. I think he is very good but I think Biclavs is very good as well. My major interest in this process is watchingto see that we dont get shafted. An added bonus would be that it means Gus is more likely to sign on again. I actually think Gus is closer to a (once in a ) generational player than Dogga. Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Im backing him in for a Norm Smith.- NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
Ginnivan is a [censored] but he is a hard player who gets to the ball. Im starting to think he is ok.- NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
How good is Nick Daicos? Horne-Francis has been lapped already.- TEAMS: Rd 17 vs Geelong
I honestly believe Geelong will try all their tricks, oiling up, ducking, acting like they are knocked out every tackle and most of all "accidental" elbows and fists. I hope Melksham is there to show them that if someone comes off on a stretcher, he can be rolled out with his massive fists and his long kicking.. or a right cross. We know the umpires wont see the Cats errors anyway.- CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Geelong
If I were Geelong Id worry about Mitch Brown more than the Weid.- GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Adelaide

afl.com.au says Adelaide 6 free kicks to 5- NON-MFC: Round 16, 2022
Luke Beveridge is IMO the least effective coach in the AFL with Saints coach not far ahead. I think Bulldogs would be a much better club with even David Noble. And Bevo seems to get worse by the week. How he has survived after some of his crazy press conferences with his eyes darting comically left to right, looking for spies, is astounding.- Farewell Luke Jackson
I hope Gus stays even if it means Luke goes.- Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
She wasnt his mother. He didnt know his sister was his mother.- Caro Verbosis Interruptus
Rattan is outraged at the thought Hilly and Paddy did anything other than walk out once voices raised. He is either completely right or he believes fervently the CCTV is unavailable.- NON-MFC: Round 15, 2022
It seems to me that in big games, a player often gets hurt against Geelong. May had a busted face but Hawkins has clipped many without sanction. "Just clumsy"... IIRC it happens in 1st or 2nd quarters as well. Most teams play fair nowadays and dont go looking for physical pressure. I think its the coach who creates the flavour on these things as opposed to direct instruction. But then I think the same about the Bulldogs and seeking Free kicks. We are lucky to have Goody. We have Good on our side. :)- NON-MFC: Round 15, 2022
There couldnt be more than 2000 people at this match in Tassie. There seems no point having North play there now, if there ever was.- Kozi hurts
Not wanting to start a seperate thread but looking for a spot to comment on the Koz...please bear with me. Sometimes you watch a player more than most others and you can get a bias going, one way or another. I have been wondering why in the forward line, many bomb it to the goal square, and Jake lever, whom Id say is a smart footballer, did it twice on Thursday. Once when Kozzie was open. Kozzie makes an option inside 50 very regularly (to my rose coloured glasses), but is almost always ignored. Toby looked for him Thursday and kicked it over his head and nearly out of bounds, Kozzie of course, did the rest with his superb balance. My point is that Kozzie would score a lot more if, as well as being a defensive forward, he was labelled a target. I think it is a mindset of the players about who to look for. I saw this as well with Jack Watts who was a smart forward but was left hungry too. And I mean bombing it to the square every [censored] ing time without thought?- Steven May Suspended by the Club
Having suffered concussion a couple of times playing, you do learn that it is easy to do your narna in the week afterwards. I wonder why Jake gets off without penalty?- Steven May Suspended by the Club
Without knowing specifics, Jake Melksham was a highly rated boxer as a junior. In my experience, boxers dont really prefer to use their words in a disagreement and do like to "take it outside". I dont know May orJake, but neither would avoid escalation when the boxer wants to butter up. Not saying thats what happened but Melksham is known for his boxing ability.
