I try to enjoy the Coodabeens Saturday morning. I like to think ive got a fairly thick skin but every reference - even the ok ones- to us includes "well done number 9" and they always crack up as if it is as fresh as ever. Been hearing it for 30 years now I reckon. I now dont turn the other cheek but turn to Off the Record on 3RRR which is a great Sat morning show. So... skins not that thick.

...and to answer my own question, I think that playing Nate Jones for his 300th on the biggest game of our year, which may make a slight difference to the result shows our spirit. Dermie meanwhile said on reviewing the game that if we were tough and ruthless we would look at leaving him out. Dermie you are a c0ckhead.

I guess we should bring out the old adage "Thats what we stand for". Nothing would give me the tom t1ts more than hearing Tony Shaw, Danny Frawley, Mark McClure or some other low IQ loud mouth searching for another insulting question about our club, by asking what we stand for? What does any club stand for?

We have to play Jones as it is a landmark we havent had except for Neiter. But 2 of Spargs, Jordon and AnB need to be considered for a rest.That is if May and Fritsch are available. Hib showed his worth immediately but the Melk will be there for 3 more weeks unfortunately. We have shown that we always give players a group of 3 or 4 games when back in the team, but BBB needs a red carpet for his 1st block of games, he is only going to get better. The Weid just hasnt strung a few games together so if we brought him back, we are committing to 4 games for him. Id like him to prove his spot by another bag in the VFL. Brereton said that if we were a really hungry team we should be ready to chop players more readily.
