One of my great childhood memories (very hazy now) was seeing the P & Ds at the Apollo Bay Leisure Centre when I was approx 14. Was not the biggest crowd I’m sure they played too but enthusiastic. One of the lads I went along with tried to stage dive... 1 bloke made a half hearted attempt to catch him... it didn’t end well.

Hearing Tommo on the Sunday footy show saying Oliver dropping back to help defend has been big for them was a real positive as well, one thing Oli has been criticised for is not pushing hard enough both ways. Well he is know.

Dogga and Gawn in particular, the ability of those two giants to onballer type running roles is incredible and really does seperate us from most of the competition. Our pressure is incredible in the third term, just squeezing them possession after possession.

I feel dreadful this am. The Melbourne lads all pulled the pin on going to the game late on Friday so I stayed local and watched the local team play their one and only night game for the year (they got belted by 100 points). I wandered into the club rooms to watch our game, plenty of condescending Tigers fans saying they’ll run over us but we’re looking ok etc before the game. By half way through the 3rd it was jokes about the ski season being quiet this year and range rovers and never won any flags... ggeesss I enjoyed being very loud as we kept kicking goals. I really shouldn’t have had the CC dry on the walk home and the glass of red watching the replay though... ouch.
