I think I recall my grandad, maybe mentioning the Redlegs⊠?

Pinching Myself Till Red and Blue of the Outside
I wasnât being serious Hutch! Just the sense of positiveness that has not been felt since the early 2000âs about my club. My almost 6yr old is wrapt every time I tell him weâve won so that is a bonus as well, I think Iâve got him hooked to the Dees.

A few have mentioned that and while I understand the traditional name the Dees havenât been called the red legs in my life time. I liked the look of the socks as well.

Good call mate, theyâre quick to pressure and release up the ground.

One think I found strange from the first half was the number of times our mids handballed to a flat footed, stationary Max Gawn. Not the best option I would have thought.

Plugger McDonald and BBB are doing ok indeed. Petty has been is doing ok, if he had some luck with marks not paid and a clean out free to him things look different. And the best part is heâll get better.

3 times this qtr weâve have easy rooms into the fwd 50 for zero goals. Petty started well but looks spent coming into half time.

Once we get the ball in space in our fwd half just pump it long to BBB. Tmac best on ground! imagine if we could win a centre clearance.

Theyâve mentioned a few times on the coverage weâve not had intercept marks which is a big key for us.

Brown while not âfastâ was in 3 contests that started at the back flank before marking and goaling then⊠nice.

TEAMS: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Iâd rather Buddy plays, I want to see us against the best sides with the best players playing.

I keep saying it to the lads. If weâre within 5-6 goals at half time weâll win. Weâve had the luxury of not being on that position this year but from what weâve seen I feel like weâre always a chance to run over the top of teams.

Collingwoodâs fall guy resigns
Graham Wright needs a bit of a blow torch applied I think. He gets given a lot of kudos for the Hawks success but very little looking under the rug of the last 4 years of terrible trades and lost topping up of the list. Goes to the Pies and it all turns pear shaped, but things are tracking nicely to reappoint Nafan. Lols. âI am very excited to take on the General Manager of Football position at Collingwood, and look forward to the opportunity to work with Nathan Buckley, the players and staff at the club,â Wright said. âFollowing a strong 2020 campaign and with a fresh crop of talent from last yearâs draft, I am clearly stepping into a program with a strong foundation and a desire for even greater success.â

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
I generally enjoy the Dbrief, itâs funny how much MFC content I consume when weâre winning (deeluded get some great guests on) but the Brown bagging was a little silly for mine. I think it is tough cheddar for teams during covid, the AFL just needs them to play and North were on the same flight downâŠ
