Mmmmmmmm soy.

I’d love to know if there is a team based % of game time played type stat. Someone mentioned on here recently that there is a huge benefit by having guys like Langers, Gawn etc playing 90 - 100% of game time as it allows the other more explosive players more rest, I think it would be great to see if there is any correlation in that thought.

Sorry for being a pinko lefty but I find Choco to be a bit of an average name for Mark, especially after hearing the last piece of audio when he spoke about the nickname with Lyon and Watson. I think Mark deserves better than that and for people to not call him a loose cannon or eccentric especially the way he has helped our players and club and for us to call him by his moniker. I think he deserves a huge amount of respect from our game and how he is helping lead young men/people.

Hhhmmmm the story Lyon asked was Kane Cornes saying he used to use a car and open the sunroof and have the players try and kick into the sunroof. I thought Mark may have been playing ducks and drakes by saying no to that one. As an overall I loved the details he goes into about wanting to keep learning and challenging norms of teaching, trying to find news ways to teach each as an individual. How times have changed from coaches just yelling at the entire playing group and getting them to run laps for stuffing up.

Just remember the great Josh Mahoney is now at the Dons, he is known for being fair to deal with.

Yea the accuracy one has been on my Mind, as others have pointed out we’re kicking for goal at 46% and our opps are 61%. We’ve had less shots on goals against us but we need to convert at a higher rate to really push us over the top for mine. Would love to see a “shot difficulty chart” that shows us where our shots are from vs the league and our efficiency va the league average.

It’s such a strange game as it lols like we’re playing an under 16s side at times, we’re doing so easy, but as always we can’t get it into fwd 50 enough. Finally towards the end of the qrt we did convert.
