Is there an echo in here?

You appear to have as much trouble with comprehension as you do with anger management Cranky. The poster wasn't advocating Howes be promoted and wasn't talking up his talents. He was simply saying that it wouldn't hurt to try young players in different positions at Casey to see how they go. I don't understand why anybody would have a problem with that suggestion.
-
Whacking an unsuspecting opponent in the guts is very courageous, I guess.
-
All the poster was suggesting was that Howes and Bowey be tried in different positions. Nothing wrong with that.
-
Not quite, jnrmac. The winner of Freo/Dogs would first have to play a semi in week two against the loser of Geelong/Collingwood for the right to meet us in the PF should we beat Sydney. edit: snap!

They'll have to make up a batch of Carlton Bitter after their last two games.
-
Do you wheely mean that?

I think it's only happened once and that was against a low-drawing Fremantle (who knocked off the Cats!) in 2012. When the new stand is finished, Geelong would be well within their rights to demand a home final.
-
They have hosted finals there previously.

No finals at Geelong this year due to the big redevelopment.

I reckon I saw that Carlton "Get F@#$%d" female fan from last week having more to say.
-
Is there a material difference?

If you're looking for a way to get hammered tonight, have a drink every time a Channel 7 camera cuts to a shot of Ben Rutten in the coaches box.
-
Ah, I see your point now. Fair enough, too.
-
They all get a week off with the pre-finals bye. The extra day won't make any difference.
-
Why do you assume that Collingwood were interested in him?
-
It's called sportsmanship. I'd be disappointed if we didn't do the same under those circumstances.
-
I'm sure I read somewhere that there will be no finals played at Kardinia Park this year due to the redevelopment of a large section of the stands and the subsequent limit on attendance.
-
I think you'll find them licking their wounds in the same room as the "Melksham only gets a game because he's Goody's best mate" crowd.

It's one of life's paradoxes that men get criticised for bottling up their emotions but also get criticised if they show them.

I did a stint as a barman in the St Kilda Social Club in 1979. If they can play football today as well as they could party in those days, they'll romp it in.
-
They'd have to be a combination of fuchsias and Robbie flowers.

I feel more confident and relaxed when Spargo has the footy than any other Melbourne player as his disposal and decision making is first rate. Having said that, it would be nice if he got more of it.

I see that Dean Kent is an inclusion for St Kilda in what will be his 100th game. Genuinely forgot that he was still on a senior list. I wonder if the 100th is a farewell gesture.
