What they are saying at Waverley Park Drive
Demonstone replied to Demon_spurs's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think they're referring to Hawthorn forward, Jacob Koschitzke, not our esteemed. Mr Pickett. -
Can we start a crowd funding page to buy @AzzKikA a pair of scissors?

I could certainly do without the seemingly obligatory slow motion close up on the face of the goalkicker shouting "Come on!" after every goal.

Petty wouldn't be playing on Mihocek unless we sent him to the backline. You probably meant another "M" Collingwood defender. Murphy or Moore perhaps?

Siri is unavailable right now. Will Homer suffice?

From Simon Goodwin this morning. Don't expect to see Salem this week. Meanwhile, Goodwin said rebounding half-back Christian Salem (knee) faced more time on the sidelines, but fellow defender Michael Hibberd (managed) was expected to return against the Hawks.

Close - no cigar.

When all the boys lined up at school for a scratch match and the two captains took turns in picking players for their team, you get the feeling that little Ralphy was the last one to get selected.

That's a very healthy list. Does Selwyn get the same kudos that Burgess did when things are going well?

I think sporran is appropriate when you consider what is commonly found underneath one.

It's sort of fitting that May's 200th game is against the Mayblooms.

Will Verrall is a young, developing ruckman. I've heard that he is very big (and tall as well).

You could combine the training report with a cooking segment and call it "Chicken Kev". Alternatively, you could play up the training spy angle and call it "Double O Kevin".

Good point, @sue. Collingwood, who entered the VFL in 1896 have played at Geelong on only 41 occasions. West Coast, who entered the VFL in 1987 (91 years later) have made the trip 27 times.

Casey have the bye this week, but with Salem back in full training, might we see him play part or all of their game the following week?
-
Interesting table, @whatwhat say what. Only Carlton and Collingwood have an overall winning record against the Cats at home, but both are rarely fixtured to play there these days.

Looking for the raw ingredients? Happy to help!
-
Yes, you're right. We won that one, too.
-
The last one I can recall is Jack Viney in 2014 (!!!). We won that appeal.

Long distance relationships are notoriously difficult and I know from experience just how hard it is. Hang in there, @Cassiew. Here's something to help you get through a tough time.

How many wins will see us play finals?
Demonstone replied to leave it to deever's topic in Melbourne Demons
He also seems to have forgotten that 90 point win against "spuds" only last week.
