Can't see that they would have the picks to satisfy us, which could mean a player or two coming our way. Maybe there's some truth in the Tom Hawkins "rumour", but can't say I'm keen on a bloke turning 32 next year.

Welcome aboard, Adam and kudos to our recruiting team. It's disappointing but hardly surprising that the usual suspects on this board will look for the cloud and not the silver lining.

As I posted on another thread, Jamaine is from my neck of the woods and I have monitored his progress since being taken as a rookie by Geelong. Unfortunately, he is just not quite up to AFL standard and I doubt anyone will pick him up. We need to be careful that we don't let the genuine need for a GOOD small forward lead us up the garden path of selecting ANY small forward just because we need one (or two).

I once shot a 66 on the golf course. The second hole was even worse.
