  1. 6. Bannon 5. Colvin 4. Paxman 3. L.Pearce 2. Heath 1. Goldrick
  2. Casey fell over the line in the end, but a pretty solid effort given that they were bereft of tall forwards.
  3. Absolutely stoked. Loved the effort, loved the desire. Like many around here, I’ve been saying ever since our AFL win, that I wanted the ‘double’. We are now only one step away from really putting ourselves on the Aussie Rules map.
  4. Loving how competitive we are, and our back half is trancing up well. Would love a bit more method in our forward line. Go Dees, bring it home!
  5. I’m really nervous (more so than last night), but over the journey I reckon we’ve earned a Grand Final berth.
  6. 6. Oliver 5. Brayshaw 4. Langdon 3. Weid 2. Smith 1. Harmes Bowser very unlucky. Max and JJ also good.
  7. I agree Sideshow, but I also think that our culture dictates that if Dogga REALLY wants to go at the end of the year, we will find a way to get a deal done. However, I think this is a most unlikely scenario.

Thanks @Webber. I greatly value your professional input, while sharing @binman frustration. I’m sure it’s our passion that gives rise to the frustration.
  9. Best midfield in the competition vs one of the worst. Comfortable 5 or 6 goal win, and a ‘stress free’ evening I reckon.
  10. I like it. No injuries and nobody is bashing the door down!
  11. Maybe something to do with a light week on the track, after a tough road trip and only a 6 day break.
  12. Yes. Port Melbourne.
  13. The 'stars' (all varieties), are continuing to align for the Melbourne Football Club.
  14. Becoming more professional with every episode. Keep up the great work guys. Thanks!
  15. ……… and regardless of his current form (which is of no concern to me whatsoever!), Max is the very best leader in the AFL by a country mile. He’s pacing himself beautifully, with Dogga at his side. There isn’t another team in the AFL who wouldn’t be envious of our ruck duo.
  16. From 'stop-gap', to Premiership player, to star player in a few months. Unprecedented! Bloody Hell, he's still just a kid!
  17. Pocket the 4 points, recover, and move on. That’s what the best teams do, and we are a very, very good team. ……… oh, and Dogga and Bowser were sensational. Imagine them in red and blue with 50+ games under their belt! Just wow!
  18. 6. Petracca 5. Jackson 4. Bowey 3. May 2. Oliver 1. Brayshaw i thought Nibbler was fantastic, but couldn’t fit him in. What a great team we are!
  19. I’m slightly uneasy given GCS strong performance in Round 1, but our command of the midfield, and our relentless forward half pressure will be telling in the end. A hard fought, but ultimately comfortable 6 goal win in greasy conditions.
  20. Welcome back Riv, the very obvious inclusion for Salo Just fantastic that we have the depth to cover injuries that, in the recent past, would have rendered us vulnerable.
  21. Loved and respected by everyone as a footballer and a human being, and a permanent part of the fabric of our great Club. Always in our hearts.

    Yep. Beautiful hemingway
  23. Very happy with this news. Spaz is a good player, with a ton of upside imo.

It was his hard running and second and third efforts that impressed me.
  25. IMO one of the most impressive aspects of our win last night, was that it was such an even team performance. I reckon you could throw a blanket over 10 or so players after Tracc, who was a clear standout My stab at it, as follows: 6. Petracca 5. Langdon 4. May 3. Oliver 2. Smith 1. Viney My votes 5 down to 1, could easily have included the unlucky Brayshaw, Brown, Spargo, Jackson and Neal-Bullen.
