  1. I like the new colours, they have balls, I like balls, Mr. Bond. (Despite being quite ambivalent re Luke Ball)
  2. Agree with you oh clenched cheeks one. Frawley has better closing speed.
  3. Certainly some good numbers to choose from, 5, 9, 31
  4. I don't really understand the antagonism towards Brock. He saw the writing on the wall - he's getting slower and we are recruiting gun mid-fielders. Doesn't take a genius to see what would happen in a couple of years time. The manner in which Brock left us put us in a great position re an early draft pick. Doesn't mean I will cheer him on as a blue(brown?)bagger. But still respect the effort he put in for the club and the debt demolition.
  5. Short answer - yes he's a star - one that's only just come onto the horizon. Thank god he's with us!
  6. I thought T-Mac acquitted himself quite well, all things considered. Surprised his name keeps coming up on these drafting & trading boards. Fuzz is right in saying he's very young, and I'd hope the club puts a couple more years into him as I think he will build into a very good footballer, especially good at delivering by foot.
  7. Well I think we can all agree on that one BB59!
  8. Yes, sad but true. Given his level of application Shane Valenti is precisely the type of person you want to see make it.
  9. Congratulations RadMan... intrigued by the middle name Arlo, is there a story behind that?
  10. And if he were in this year's draft would the question be "and how well did he throw it"?
  11. Two sheds, I sent you a pm re this...did you get it?
  12. So it was a beep test...I thought it was your time over 100 metres!
  13. Who censored cockeyed? Definition: adj. Informal Foolish; ridiculous; absurd: a cockeyed idea. Askew; crooked. Intoxicated; drunk
  14. You're responsible for your actions, plus your mates should look out for you. If its true that senior (leadership group) players were out drinking with him at 2PM than they get 0/10 for foresight and 10/10 for [censored]-eyed thinking.
  15. Well said, we don't want this thread to go around and around in circles...oops, sorry Brock.
  16. If the media is believed he has a savagely back-ended contract...so I'd say seven hundred thousand times no!
  17. The irony of trade week at Cartel park. If Fev gets sacked we have trained McLean up as their new forward pocket key marking target - and to think that Brock was unhappy about playing down there Or Fev is not sacked...Judda$ cracks it and decides to become a Demon after all. More irony as MFC place him on a good behaviour contract - no amateur martial arts Chris - even if you do bring Ms. Twigley along with you.
  18. Possibly a win win It all depends if Brock can break into the carlton midfield and who we get with Pick 11 (someone with the pace of Gary Rohan woud be great but probably gone by then). Thanks to Brock for all his endeavour over the past 5 years.
  19. It used to be my Dad's MFC Guernsey from when he made the 1958 Senior List. Its now been superseded by my daughter's bib that was signed by Jack Watts and then by all the indigenous players who attended the Long Journey function...its being framed and "going straight into the pool room"
  20. Great insight WJ. I hope they add 2 more weeks tonight...brings it up to $340,000 Oh, and he should be made to play all next season wearing mittens!
  21. I don't think the bump is dead but that it is becoming a high-risk option for the player laying it.
