  1. This response is exactly what I’m talking about (above)
  2. Nailed it! And this is another reason (there’s more than one) why the players, particularly the seasoned players, are noticeably more relaxed and happy. It’s palpable. Previously Max got what Max wanted (especially re the ruck situation) but that seems to have changed, and imho it’s a much-needed and welcome change. BTW- The OP included the word ‘sacrilege’ in the thread title and that’s understandable since god forbid anyone saying anything that’s not 100% lauding Max. The OP also prefaced the post with a sentence about how great Max is, and while Max is indeed great, we should be able to discuss matters like this. IMHO
  3. Short answer: probs not a lot. Long answer. Casey sessions are closed to the public. This is where the real stuff happens. Tomorrow at Gosch’s there’ll be two sessions, each 45 minutes in length, with a break of an hour and 3/4 in between sessions. The players choose which session they’d prefer. I see S&Gs on the horizon. The 30-minute captain’s run on Saturday at Gosch’s, if similar to last week’s captain’s run, is S&Gs guaranteed. Edit: the Casey sessions are brutal… and long. Not a sch!tt nor a giggle to be seen.
  4. Good to see you’re not editorialising 😜 Nor proofreading 😅
  5. Moose is down for this! I told him someone on here said they’d love for us to win with a goal after the siren, kicked by Steeley after a pass from Moose (or vice versa). I said I know that’s your former team but us supporters wish much pain on them. Moose said, Nah we’d be TOTALLY down for that scenario… bring it on!
  6. Meanwhile there won’t be hordes of Saints fans packing out the trains at Jolimont. No, this time they’ll stay to watch us win. 👊🏼 Yeah the Mighty Dees!
  7. We have three huge milestones in the first three matches of the season, (depending on selection): Salo 200 and Tmac 250 in round 1 Melky 250 in round 2 Max 250 in round 3
  8. Yeah I know it’s Chin’s newborn but it could be any newborn. The difference is when a newborn turns 9yo he’ll stop looking like he’s 8yo. 😅
  9. Tmac’s 250th (if he plays)
  10. Welcome to the world, Baby Chin! Little Albie, born on March 3rd to proud parents Kade and Amy… Hopefully Chin gets enough sleep leading up to the match.
  11. Thank you, Jules 🫶🏼 A win against the Saints would be a great start! Still a whole week to go; this has been the longest preseason ever.
  12. It’s also Jeffo’s birthday today. Just a few years separates us in age 😜
  13. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY Y’ALL! I was born on International Women’s Day 21 years ago (shut up anyone who dares refute that) and this morning a friend asked me if I had a birthday wish. This is what I said… I want the Saints to beat the Pies but I want the Saints to sustain some injuries, nothing serious, just a week on the sidelines. And a suspension wouldn’t go astray, especially if someone takes out Maynard in the process (totally serious). I also want NWM to play a blinder coz Collingwood, but then for him to trip and land awkwardly when leaving the field. Again, nothing serious, he’ll sit out for a week. My friend said “oh, ok. I was thinking more along the lines of good health, happiness, world peace etc.” I told him those things are all equal second on the list 😅
  14. Well it’s written in the stars. He’s clearly his father’s son 😅
  15. Show me your Roy Morgan results then we’ll talk 😉
  16. It’s NOT a big, big sound 😂 At least he owns not knowing the words. Could’ve been worse, he could’ve pretended he was singing it.
  17. I never said that. You’re the one saying “most Melbourne supporters.” Go back and read your own post. My response was sufficiently mature. I mean, I could’ve said, “Why are you arguing with yourself, bruh?” Now that would be immature.
  18. What, you mean like this? ⬇️ 🤭
  19. Seems a little reminder is warranted.
  20. You’re kidding, right? Then how do you explain all the b!ttchhing and moaning about Clarrie not thanking us (publicly) and not saying nice things about our club. Oh, there’s tosses being given.
  21. I would’ve said this but I’m not as brave as you. Note how nobody has taken you to task for saying this? Unfortunately that wouldn’t be the case had I said it. But you’re right in what you say, 100% right.
  22. It’s amazing the difference when your teammates like you, like having you around and there’s no resentment. It translates onto the field.
  23. And I’m sure Tracc will get in his ear. You can already see the blossoming bromance between the two of them.
  24. What a person desires can change with time. He did at some point crave playing in front of a massive crowd and more than once had a go at our fans for not turning up. But more recently, changes in his personal life meant that living interstate was more of a priority. At some point in the future he may again want to play in front of huge crowds but unfortunately for him that’s never gonna happen with the Suns.
