It’s not that hard 😉 Unrelated: I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but Jeffo’s obvious improvement in form started to appear around the same time as he met his girlfriend. Interesting, huh.

He’ll simply say it’s what he’s been told. Apparently they don’t have to divulge their sources. The big question as far as the Frittas are concerned is who leaked the incident to the media?

It wouldn’t matter what the club says about this type of reporting, it’s always gonna happen. It’s how these people make their money. But this particular incident should serve as a reminder that you can’t automatically take what anyone in the media says as gospel.

It wasn’t as serious as your experience, BAMF. It wasn’t even serious. Incidentally, in case anyone is wondering… neither dog was badly hurt. No rushing to the vet was needed as has been the case a couple of times in the past.

It’s not usually the kind of thing discussed at the Season Launch, though. And I’m glad it’s not, for it would likely spoil the upbeat vibe of the night. The AGM is the domain for such things. Imho, that is.

This week it’s Casey Fields on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Next Monday it’s at Gosch’s, but that’s subject to change

Got this place card to add to my ever-growing collection… As can be seen, his name was added on after the RSVP date, but the point is his name’s there and that’s a great thing ❤️💙

He’s really good. He’s been working so hard. He said that on Friday five of them (Shane, Ricky, Jai, Checkers and Hendo) ran 11km and afterwards Shane decided to keep on running then did a gym session. He goes to bed early every night* and sleeps well, gets up and throws himself into training in some capacity or other, much of the time of his own choice. *tonight he was struggling to stay awake. He wasn’t the only one; several people said the players on their table were also really tired. I don’t know why the club insists on making them stay ‘til the end. Especially as they have to get up early tomorrow for a full training session at Casey.

Got a spare $300? Coz that’s the price of a ticket. I barely ate anything of this so Shane Mc got pretty much two of everything. The boy can eat!

Haha. Not even stitches. That’s the update.

One is Fritta’s dog and the other is Nat’s. The dogs have never got on but neither of them is willing to let go of their beloved pooch which is understandable.

According to Mrs Fritatta the media is doing what the media does best… sensationalising, blowing something up to way bigger than it is. Calling a couple of stitches surgery, okaaaaay.

It’s Ricky Mentha. He’s back to full training tomorrow.

Just messaged his mum. Her exact words… “He’s fine. Bloody media 🤬” Two of Fritta’s dogs have to be separated at all times. Someone left a door open, the dogs starting fighting, Fritta broke up the fight and was bitten in the process. No biggie

Damn Chappy told me someone is back in full training tomorrow but I can’t remember who.

Just spoke with him 10 minutes ago. He said he’s looking at being ready for round two, or so he’s been told. The stress fracture is in a bone at the top of his foot (metatarsal? I can’t remember) which is far better than a bone in the sole.

I just chatted with Paddy Cross. What a lovely kid. I told him how genuinely happy folks on here are about him being on our list. He’s so humble, he said it hasn’t fully sunk in, today’s been hectic, but he’s gonna take a quiet moment to take it all in.
