I just posted about this on the Casey Practice Match thread… A friend who was at Casey today was told that at 8am on Saturday, before the Casey practice match, our seniors are playing an intraclub match. I don’t think this sounds right, though. But they are training there beginning at 8am.

It sucks that the opening round matches are scheduled around the teams that have the juiciest axes to grind. But this season it’s next level. It’s like Curnow and Waitering will be the only players out there.

I won’t be there but the club asked if the DA has any questions we’d like asked on our behalf. The first question on our WhatsApp group was should you keep tomato sauce in the fridge or the pantry? 😅 A lot of other questions, all footy/Dees related, were suggested, but the sauce one was the only one we vigorously discussed. 🤣 In case anyone wants to know… I’m Team Pantry all the way

So many examples of his unique style but there are two quotes which I remember but have never seen referenced. The new style of play suits him well. He’s formed a great rapport with Kingy and is relishing the change in methods, etc. That’s not a slight on Goody, they’re two entirely different coaches. Fritta is embracing the challenge of many changes at the one time. He says there’s harmony in the team, again.

Thank you. I just repeated what Pauline Fritsch was telling me and since Fritta’s her son and they’re very close I tend to believe what she says. I don’t know who you spoke with but there’s one thing I know for sure… there were no stitches, the two puncture marks were indeed tiny, Pauline sees his hand and this is what she sees. The IV drip wasn’t entirely necessary but he was hooked up to one anyways. When he lines up on March 15th for round one, things will be clearer.

Fun fact we discovered today: Roo was at Optus Oval on that magical last Saturday in September 2021. He was sitting high up in the stand above where Tracc kicked the first goal. That was having earlier played in the curtain raiser in an under-18 side, a game in which he kicked the winning goal. Rooooooo!

What we filmed today isn’t part of the Awaken Your Demon series. It was a plug for a thing called “The Pass” which is something the Duke of Wellington hotel will be offering Dees fans. It includes among other things discounts on food and drinks on gameday. We filmed it at the Duke; Rooey and JS9 were the “talent” along with the DA. Some of us had speaking parts. But it was soooo cringe. Like, painfully cringe. Also, as an actor Steeley is a very good footballer 🤣 He stunk it up repeatedly. He had one line of six little words and they had to do a bazillion takes. I overheard the director saying to a crew member “that guy looks really awkward.” 🤣 Rooey not much better. 😅

They did. They had a full session out at Casey Fields. They’ll be training at Casey Fields again on Thursday.

Have you not read anything I’ve said in this thread? If you wanna believe Sam Edmunds, go right ahead, but maybe don’t bore everyone with comments like the above which are unnecessary and repetitive. Facts: He called the club doctor immediately after it happened. The club doctor attended to him, washed out the two tiny puncture (not much bigger than a pinhead) marks and gave him antibiotics. There was NEVER an infection He went back to the club doctor this morning to have it checked. He’s fine. This morning I said to Fritta’s mum that this report implies Fritta is irresponsible in that he thought it was no biggie and let time go by ‘til an infection set in. She said she likes to think people who read it will know there’s always the possibility that it’s a bunch of bs. Seems she thought wrong.
