  1. He did go back to the rooms with the rehabbers, ie. earlier than the main group. But he didn’t seem to have any issues and as you said, was running freely.
  2. You’re not thinking of Tom Couch, are you? He coaches tennis professionally
  3. His name is Johnny Randabel and he’s the Casey forwards coach.
  4. We also used to have gluten-free bread but it too went the way of the gluten-free snags because of low demand. For a while there I was bringing home my chooks’ weight in gluten-free bread after every BBQ. 😅
  5. I think transitioning from generic electric guitar pieces and current pop songs straight to Beethoven was a stretch as it is. 😅
  6. Unfortunately, no. We used to have gluten-free snags but the demand was so low that we ended up having to throw them out. We still only get one or two requests per BBQ. See you there <3 Edit: you’ll be at Gosch’s on Friday as well? Saturday is the Xmas Meet & Greet at Gosch’s. This isn’t a training session.
  7. Jake would be absolutely gutted. On Friday he seemed in good spirits despite being on crutches. At that point he didn’t know the seriousness of his injury 😕
  8. This never gets old ❤️💙
  9. During preseason training in December 2021 Fritta sustained an injury to his foot caused by a teammate treading on it. He had to have surgery and to this day it amazes me the media never got hold of this happening (Do better, Tom Morris!😁). The teammate was our beloved Pig.
  10. The doc told me Bowser had a torn ligament in his foot and was to be operated on this afternoon, and that he’d be looking at three or so months recovery. I don’t know how these things work, ie. could the surgeon have discovered something different while he was operating?
  11. The injury was caused by a teammate treading heavily on his foot at the camp. They had him running laps at those two sessions because they didn’t realise the extent of the injury. He complained of a sore foot which became more painful after those running laps sessions.
  12. At this stage it’s Gosch’s. That’s according to the Property Manager and his right-hand man. But that’s not a certainty and they can expect to be notified of the venue right up until the week before they recommence.
  13. I didn’t even notice to whom I was responding. I simply repeated what I’d been told right at the end of the session and that’s that he’s tracking as expected at this point in his recovery.
  14. This is great! It’s from Friday’s session. And ima go ahead and claim credit for the soundtrack. I told Trent our videographer that it’d be wonderful to not always have the generic electric guitar background music. I said (jokingly)… “A classical piece would be nice.” And here we are 😃
  15. No, it’s the complete opposite. He loves the name. It’s his mother’s maiden name and he is super close with his grandmother (his mum’s mum) so it has a special meaning
  16. He’s not sure if he was actually concussed, he said because it’s only December they can afford to have him miss a couple of sessions. Not that he was enjoying it, he doesn’t do sidelines well. PS Tracc was definitely a no-show 😁
  17. Saw Kalani take a run and jump grab on the boundary and you’d swear it was Jeff out there.
  18. Oh, I was by no means disputing what you said. I just wanted to make a point of saying that the spray Rooey copped was followed by a more gentle explanation, if you will. I think this is great coaching.
  19. The website still hasn’t been updated but training is at Gosch’s this Wednesday and Friday, then next Monday with the final session on Wednesday 17th December. They return at the beginning of the second week of January.
  20. But after training Kingy and Roo walked back to AAMI together and Kingy had his hand on Roo’s back and was talking to him in a gentle tone.
  21. Roo was awesome in the match sim. Many of them were. Latrelle is a force to be reckoned with, shrugs off tacklers like they’re Auskick kids and I’m talking three attempts in quick succession to bring him down. We saw him do some amazing things today.
  22. You know what they say… don’t annoy the person who’s about to make you something to eat. It never ends well.
  23. We’re actually not. According to the medical staff we’re not. Only Bowser and Vines are considered “long-term.” The worry and stress we experience on here is largely unwarranted. It’s a whole different outlook from the staff.
