I mean Petracca is out the door, Merrett has blown things up as you mentioned, Curnow too. If anything the lesson to most players seems to be that you can absolutely burn bridges and swim back across the river if things don't work out. I suspect once Humphrey has met with clubs he'll decide if this is something he actually wants to pursue.

They were probably keen to get him on the cheap which we weren't willing to compromise on last year. This year he could be a bargain.
