  1. Chandler and Kozz had 12 tackles combined this week (7 & 5)
  2. Since 2000 4 teams have won the flag after losing 7 H&A games, no one has won it losing 8 or more. We better go on a fair run from here..
  3. Yeah nah. Team has finished top 4 last 3 years, we’re entitled to go into a game against a bottom 4 team expecting a win. Do you think pies or cats fans wet the bed in the lead up to a game against a bottom 4 team? Can’t blame supporters for the team being no good.
  4. Don’t buy into that asterisk rubbish, any team would’ve taken a flag that year and be lauding it over everyone. We were the best team in it that year by far and smashed all comers. Should’ve won another one in 22 or 23 but now we look cooked. No depth and couldn’t get the key forward we needed.
  5. I’m sure the Naarm name is why we’re losing to this rabble.. it’s definitely the woke. Well spotted
  6. Come on Dees, I don’t even care about the 4 points anymore just make these [redacted] commentators eat [redacted]
  7. Kozz 10 disposals @70%, 1 goal, 2 score involvements, 4 tackles but yeh he’s the problem guys..
  8. Press ‘red’ for [redacted] heads
  9. Having to listen to this west coast [censored] fest commentary team isn’t helping my mood here
  10. If the rest stopped kicking it behind him or over his head he’d look better
  11. 16 points closer than we were at QT last week, should win by 15 once we get started
  12. 😂 I’m not Luke Parker by the way, you seem confused about my role in this. I didn’t bump anyone so what you put up with or don’t doesn’t really concern me. I said I thought Parker will get 4 or 5, he’s chosen to bump, got the guy in the head with obviously a fair bit of force so he’s going for an extended break. My separate point was that while players have a duty of care to each other I think players also need to have a duty of care to themselves - if you run around a football field expecting that everyone will get out of your way that’s not going to go all that well. Not excusing Parker, it’s just a reality.
  13. If anything is building up in your inner sanctums for more than a day or two try some more fibre in your diet
  14. He should probably assume the bloke coming straight at him is going to bump him. Maybe he can also think “he shouldn’t really bump me here” but he’s gonna get bumped.
  15. 4 weeks, might be 5 if it was in the AFL. Not as bad as Webster on Simpkin imo as Simpkin had kicked it and was open. I'm not sure what the Essendon bloke was doing here, you might not expect to get knocked into next week but you’ve got to expect some contact surely? Seems like he didn’t even see Parker when he was running straight at him
  16. It’s time we admitted to ourselves that this is our own fault, through our superior physical preparation and the natural physical attributes of our players “potential to cause injury” only applies to Melbourne players, other players just aren’t as inherently dangerous as we are
  17. 38.16 is ridiculous goal kicking in these conditions
  18. The live ladder is making me feel a lot better about missing out on the 4 points last week, but I’m also feeling ever so slightly less chuffed about beating this rabble (I know they’re missing a few from the team that played us). Best viewing of the night will be Scott chewing through a [censored] sandwich in the post match. He’ll be fuming 😂
  19. I think BBB instead of Fullarton but otherwise think this will be the lineup. BBB was emergency last week so I think they’ll play him, and I think if Fullarton was in for his club debut they’d name him and do the announcement (but maybe not..)
  20. Fair, didn’t know about the preseason one. Still don’t think he’ll be at Casey though.
  21. This is the problem, and they’ve also either done away with or stopped enforcing the protected area so if you’re on the wing there’s usually a man on the mark plus another one on the 45° angle guarding inside so you’ve got to kick long. Defeats the purpose. Knowing the AFL nothing ever goes back to the way it was, they’ll just layer more interpretations on top to try and tweak things. While we’re asking the AFL to consider their ad hoc changes can they take a look at players leading with the head, flopping, ducking and diving to get free kicks rather than protecting themselves?
  22. Interesting comment from Goody about McAdam going back to the start with his body to get fit, sounds like they had to put some work in to get him going. I think Salem’s in a different situation, his previous issues were thyroid not hammy, plus he’s already had extra time over a regulation hammy recovery. I think if the hammy is fine he’ll straight come in like others in recent times, not via the vfl. He’s best 22.
  23. I think BBB is the easy in, he’s been emergency last few weeks so is next in imo. Salem if fit is best 22 so comes in as well. Hore and Laurie were the other emergencies last week, Marty’s out so maybe Laurie in if Salem doesn’t get up - or the other option might be Tholstrup. He’s been in for a game and also named emergency a couple of weeks ago which is closer than I think Fullerton has got.
  24. Hoo boy. Time to walk the dog I think..
  25. Don’t rate McGovern, Turner & Petty should be able to run off him pretty easily you’d think and as you say if we don’t kick him the ball he isn’t much use
