POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Carlton
I guess it depends where you sit. Last year I was tormented as to who I would barrack for had Collingwood and Carlton played off in the GF. (Iâve despised both sides all my life). Easy decision after I attended the two final games that we played against both sides. The Feral fans were putrid (eg chanting Collingwood whilst Brayshaw was knocked out unconscious). Carlton in comparison were bearable. Back to my response to your post. Carlton fans that were in my vicinity (in last yearâs final and the game the other day and even on the train ride home) seemed like reasonable people when compared to the Ferals. Maybe I was just lucky.

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Carlton
Just watched Goodyâs press conference. I think we are incredibly fortunate to have a bloke like him on board. His values permeates right through the club. You can see and feel the respect the players have for him. The Caleb Windsor interview is a good example. It appears that the inner sanctum of the club (footy department right through to the playing squad) have huge buy in to the clubâs (Goodyâs) value system. I understand that some people arenât that wrapped in him. All good, people are allowed to think differently. I hope he hangs around for a very long time.

They ARE starting to respect us!
I am both a dinosaur and somewhat lazy. Loved having access to a thread that collates radio commentary / interviews dealing with Melbourne. Thanksđ

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Carlton
Donât disagree with most things you said. Goody very much acknowledged and was grateful to the supporters that turned up. Home crowd advantage can be the difference between winning and losing. I think the point Goody (or maybe itâs just me) was trying to make was that the more fans that turn up and the noisier we are does not go unnoticed by the playing group. Although itâs a Carlton home game coming up and they will clearly outnumber us, the more passionate noisy demon supporters that rock up the better. It will be and appreciated by our players. It may just help our boys get over the line in a tight game.

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Carlton
I hope all our supporters can survive a five day break and turn up to the Carlton game. Is it just me but I almost get the impression that Goody at his post match press conference is subtly begging for more of our fans to turn up. i have no doubt that positive (and noisy) crowd support makes a big difference.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Geelong
What I found interesting in the after-match commentary on 774 was the lack of praise for our team Comments that I recall included -We still havenât got a functioning forward line - that is why we had so many individual goal kickers on the night - We were bailed out of the finals 2 years running- so that will be a monkey on our back come final again : and Although our defence was good on the night, coaches of other sides come finals will have worked out and beat our systems. Strangely, I like how we are being overlooked, I hope it continues all year.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs Geelong
What all of us have in common is waiting a long time coming for our last flag. My kids born in the 1980âs are not dissimilar to you. They literally had to wait a lifetime, be it 30 to 40 odd years Me, I was alive for our flag in 1964, so it had not been a lifetime waiting. But it was over half a bloody century waiting! That is a very long time. I was resigned to think I may never see us get one while I was still alive. As a footnote, I have never enjoyed going to the footy as much as have in the last few years. Dream of perhaps seeing us snag a few more. đ€GO DEES !!

Wouldnât miss this game for the world. GO DEES!!!!!- POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Thanks for the link. Obviously Clayton likes doing public speaking as much as I do. Having said that, I thought he did really well and the interviewers looked after him. All good. Footy wise I like it how it appears that our backs excepted, we are very much work in progress. So long as we notch up enough wins to end up in the top four by season end, job done. Makes it more difficult for other sides to work out what our game plan will be and to prepare to counter it. Come finals is when I hope that we are injury free and firing on all cylinders. đ€- POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond

Whatâs this âslight push in the backIâ bs? It was blatant.- ANZAC EVE ticketing 2024
Wonât need to. Presuming there will be a file inside the cake.- TRAINING: Friday 19th April 2024
Hope you are correct. Not taking things for granted but with Richmondâs injuries, even with having Oliver and Salem out I am not just expecting us to win but am hoping to see a âstatement gameâ and getting a percentage boost. Following week is the big game against the cats. Carlscum five days later unfortunately is a bit problematic. Want three wins, will settle for two, nothing less.- 2024 MRO & Tribunal
Canât wait until the day when the AFL has to try and defend itself (and itâs joke of a tribunal decision making processes) against aggrieved former / current players in a real court of law. Itâs just a matter of time. - Ticketing: King's Birthday
