  1. If this Petracca debacle isn’t enough to handle and now hearing about Kozzie being homesick (presume mainstream media has already picked up on this) doesn’t kill us, surely or perhaps desperately hoping this will make us stronger going forward.
  2. If anyone is going (Football feast o. Sunday), it is incumbent of them to start a new thread and report back to us want went down. Don’t want to? Look at the fine print of the terms and conditions that you agreed to when you ‘signed up’ to Demonland.
  3. Learnings from this debacle thus far. Never trust anyone that barracked for the Filth. (Joke) The reality is this. If he ends up going to another club, come game day I would love to hate him. If it’s either the Filth or the Scum I would despise him. Somewhat sadly, if he ends up staying, it just won’t feel the same. Bit like taking back a partner that tried to cheat on you and then trying to pretend nothing wrong happened.
  4. I have somewhat nervously respected our clubs supportive culture of our playing groups needs and wants. But there are risks. Jackson wanted to go home, we did it very respectfully. We let him go. Similarly ANB needed to go home and we supported him. I would like to think that our cultural values may encourage others to consider playing for us. I get it that some on this platform are saying that we should cut our loses, let Petracca go and see what we can get in return. My concern going forward is this. What sort of dangerous precedent may we be setting if we let him get his wishes and go to another club? We are a mid sized club. Think of how the big Victorian clubs and other power clubs from interstate may exploit us in coming years. These power clubs would know that if they try hard enough they could exploit our cultural values and pick off any disgruntled star in coming years. How nervous would you be going forward if say hypothetically Clayton had bit of a setback and faced a new set of challenges in coming years? Goody at his last press conference said Petracca has a contract and he won’t be moving anywhere. I’m with Goody on this one. The team is bigger than any individual. If he doesn’t want to come back on board, then he can sit on the bench in the VFL for all I care. Having said that, I hope he stays, everyone makes amends and moves on. Sounds this may not be likely but I can only hope.🤞
  5. GWS. They were robbed by the umpires against the Ferals for their chance to play in a GF last year - which more likely than not would have won. Good luck to them for this year (Hawks playing the most crowd pleasing footy at the moment)
  6. One upside about Freo losing. We all get a chance to see Carlton lose again in a fortnight.
  7. To all the members, supporters and fans that went to the G and gave it to Maynard…….. thanks.
  8. I’ll start on a positive. The only highlight being at the G last night was giving that dirty filthy mongrel [censored] Maynard all that he deserved. Well done demon supporters. Good job! The bad, it’s all been said above. The worst. Listening to that germ Derm on SEN whilst watching the game. Have never come across a more pompous full of himself [censored] that loves himself and hates Melbourne with a vengeance. He was at his deplorable worst last night. Glad the season is over. (Go GWS in the finals)
  9. Being at the G watching us beat the umpire assisted premiers of 2023, surrounded by black and white feral supporters (both at the game and on the train)… priceless. GO DEES
  10. I believe it’s called the ‘Inconsequential Cup’….that I want us to win. Three reasons, I really despise the Filth, I’ll be at the game and I hate losing! GO DEES!
  11. Likewise. Hope he stays around with us for a very long time.
  12. Wants and needs. Needs trump wants. He therefore has to and will stay. 🤞
  13. After our great performance last week, Jack staying a Demon for life and strongly encouraging supporters to rock up, why wouldn’t you? Next time we play after this Friday is a long time away.
  14. I too am conflicted. Had the last game not been against Collingwood, I perhaps would see things differently. (Words cannot describe how much I despise the Filth)
  15. Totally agree. Question asked should be ‘does this selection improve our chances of beating the Ferals?’. If the answer is ‘no’, bad luck mate but we still love you. Remember Jones’s omission for the 2021 GF.
  16. Would be feeling a lot more confident that we could make the finals if Essendon was still in the eight…..and then got busted again for doing performance enhancing drugs. Unfortunately, we are cooked for 2024.
  17. I’ll certainly be there. It’s our ‘grand final’ in August. The mighty Dees v the Ferals and umps. So much want us to beat the ‘Umpire assisted premiers’ of 2023 and ensure they can’t make the finals in 2024.
  18. Take that squirmy Dermy. The hope that they could still get up when they were 6 goals down deep in the fourth… priceless
  19. [censored]. Squirmy still thinks GC are a chance!
  20. Squirmy Dermott irks me more than Brian Taylor. He is the most self infatuated tool I’ve come across
  21. Someone posted this picture a while ago. Thought it is a good time to bring it back up.😂
  22. Special rules apply to the 2023 Umpire Assisted Premier's …..it seems
  23. Good seeing a full blown introvert let his actions do the ‘talking’. Loved the way he bowed out at the end. What else would you expect.
  24. So refreshing to see some positivity on this forum. Goody has been such a big part of the changed culture. Proud to be a member that supports the club. GO DEES!
  25. Must be some truth to the rumour doing the rounds that players still have ‘buy in’ with Goody. GO DEES!
