I've got to say, Colin Sylvia has more talent in that little pustule they removed from his big toe than 90% of people who have ever played the game. What a star he could be.

Bah! Give me a dynamic, pressure set-up any day. That's where it's at. EDIT: Let's not forget we're on the road, with a draw up our sleeves, needing to win three or more out of the next five. Colin Garland is amazing. The niggling body work and round the side/over the shoulder spoils he gets away with is incredible. He is either incredibly up-to-date with what the umpires allow, or is very lucky. Fletcher-like in his way, and I've noticed he gets some rough treatment from his opponents (two punches in the guts a few months ago and a "I think I'll use your face to help me up" from Fev tonight. He's been really good, as has the "dud" Brisbane defender we snagged for nothing.

That white uniform just fills me with pride dismay.

I'm so unbelievably pumped for this game. This could be the real defining moment of our young team's season. We could really show what we're made of tonight. We may not, but even then, it'll be good to see who can play well after a week of tire-pumping on media street.

Don't worry. Over the next ten years, I think it's going to become more and more "cool" for a kid to barrack for the Demons, and it's at that level that real and lasting increase in supporter numbers come. Those kids eventually become mothers and fathers with children of their own, and the cycle continues.

Good on Wonna for earing his spot in the team after being an emergency. With the rumours of Jack Watts' sore quad, I wouldn't be surprised to see him replaced in the selected team by Trengove.

If they "rest" McKenzie, I guarantee we will perform worse, no matter who we bring in. He is so unbelievably important to this team that I would seriously drop Jamar before him. I am not joking, either. Criminally underrated player.

Nice title. It's good that he can sort of poke fun at what was surely a pretty crappy aspect of his life. I'm not much of a biography reader (auto or otherwise), but I kind of like the Ox, so I might consider maybe possibly reading the synopsis of a review after the book comes out.

And you've got the two Fletchers playing around 700 games for the one club. I think that's pretty awesome, whatever you think of the Bombers.

I don't know what game you were watching, but two junk-time goals does not mean that Goodes "clearly beat" Morton. He was the winner, though. Too bad his team lost. But on the "tanking" issue, opposition supporters seem to think it's fun to watch your team be a laughing-stock for years. I'd never choose to go through what we've all been through in the past few seasons. But there are benefits, and we're going to experience them soon, and while we do, some other team is always going to finish last - biding it's time until it's a powerhouse once more. I think Elton John sang a song about this once.
