  1. Don't you think some of our shitty players need to take some of the blame for that?
  2. I can't stand the Bulldogs. They're just so . . . bland.I feel like Zap Brannigan and his hatred for the Neutrals whenever I watch the dogs. "What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?"
  3. Playing every team twice is the dream, but I just don't think it will ever happen.
  4. The poll is flawed. There's no "2 and 2" option.
  5. Amateur hour! Can't even show the end of the game because they need to move on with the schedule.
  6. I remember one of the first games Martin had to ruck on his own. It was against St Kilda and it was a centre bounce between him and Kosi. Just before the ball was bounced, Martin had this animal-like look of determination on his face. He proceeded to jump on Kosi's shoulders, win the tap straight to one of our guys, and we kicked a goal out of it. His leap on that occasion was just phenomenal. Deadset, his knees were planted on Kosi's shoulders like they were two kids trying to look over a fence. He could be a fantastic first-selection ruckman if given the opportunity.
  7. Tom McDonald for me. I remember back to our first game against St Kilda this year when McDonald was matched up against Nick Riewoldt. Riewoldt towelled him up for the first 10 minutes of the game, and if you'll look at the match day thread, you'll probably see me making a number of wise statements along the lines of "I have no idea how McDonald gets a game." Cut to the the Player of the Year votes after the game, and I think he featured in my top three. Fair to say McDonald has certainly won me over this year.
  8. HAHAHAHA! that's great. Come on. If you can't laugh at that, you really do have depression.
  9. He'd have to be pretty darn overrated to not be worth a rookie spot.
  10. Anyone care to enlighten us?
  11. I'm on the reality bus and they don't allow umbrellas.
  12. His fitness cannot be much worse than Sam Blease's, and Blease gets a game every week.
  13. Daniher is exactly the player we need in the forward line also. I'd be more than happy if we picked him in the first round, but since that won't happen, making Essendon use their first pick on him is the next best thing.
  14. If Wona wants to get back into the AFL, I'd be all too happy to see him playing - for any team, if not for ours.
  15. If I remember correctly, the player he made cry had committed the cardinal sin of going in hard at a marking contest. But because Beamer came off second best, this so-called "leader" felt the responsibility to reprimand him. No wonder we play bruise free footy.
  16. My reservations about Moloney began when it was reported that he bullied one of the first year players at a training session a couple of years ago. He may be a fine enough bloke to talk with, but I think he belongs to a bygone era in terms of his approach to football.
  17. When we finally do play Cook, someone needs to inform Jack Darling so he can log on and have his head inflated.
  18. Moneyball is not just about recruiting cheap players. It's about recruiting players for specific roles, so as to maximise your dollar per KPI ratio.
  19. Good post, but I've never in my life seen someone misspell "want".
  20. We should try to dig up the most "Liked" post and see what it was about.
  21. Yuendumu and the Tiwi Islands are 1,400 km apart, so why are you lumping Wona and Jurrah together? Oh wait, I think I know.
  22. That's an interesting idea. If an Irish novice could learn how to do it, I'm sure Tom McDonald would be able.
  23. I really think we need Goddard to teach Jack Watts exactly how to play the Goddard role that we all know deep down in our hearts is his ideal position.
