Silver: Rivers, who can now play back and forward, but whose ability to read the ball in the air is much better suited to the backline, since that's where the ball is most of the game. Bronze: McDonald, for his great defensive job on Anonymous North Forward #3 3: Green, who provided a target most of the day, but is just too old and too short to be our go-to guy. 2: Frawley, who played a fairly admirable role on Petrie. 1: Nicholson, who gave us some much needed spread from the contest.

The way Mitch Clark plays will see him in the emergency rooms quite often I reckon. Cloke is essential, not only because of the extra target he provides, but for the insurance he gives us. And we don't need to give up anything for him.

I I actually think trying to get a throwin in that position is way preferable to a 50/50 shot on goal, and think it should be done more often (ie when you can't hit-up a target inside 50).

I'm glad to hear Neeld rates my boy Jetta. Watching Cale Morton for the Scorpions isn't filling me with much confidence at all, though.

First-up coaches' contracts are, definitely.

Jared Rivers would be about my fourth or fifth picked, behind Clark, Jones, Jamar and Frawley. I rate him very highly, but he should play as a defender when our forward line gets back to normal.

It involves Mitch Clark, Jack Watts, Clint Bartram, Liam Jurrah and Mark Jamar. That's all I need to know.
