  1. I've just had a flashback of this song
  2. Some people on this forum have nothing better to do other than [censored] and moan about the club. It's getting boring.
  3. The primary objective of the electronic vote was to reduce costs. In the past postal votes cost a fortune, electronic voting is significantly more cost effective. I have to say, HTD, your constant pontificating about how bad the club is being run is getting rather tiresome. Now it's about how many people vote. How about you look at the percentages of other clubs' members voting at AGM and come back to us.
  4. I'm not disagreeing with you on that. I'm merely correcting some misinformation here. I was responding to a post here that the club's office were at AAMI. They're not, they're at the MCG. There is no plan, though, to move admin base to Casey, that has never been on the agenda.
  5. Casey Fields is too far so let's look at Mornington Peninsula? Seriously?
  6. founding tenant club? Of the four clubs tenanted at the MCG they came last! It seems we know now the drugs Ginnivan got must have come from Kelly.....
  7. The change rooms were being developed from end of last year. It's why we couldn't play any finals games at Casey.
  8. Our administration office is not based at AAMI, it's based in the Southern Stand of the MCG. There is an annexed office space used by the football department.
  9. The point was addressed by Pert. If we wanted to base ourselves out in the outer suburbs we could have done that years ago. However as the Melbourne Football Club the aim is to have our base in the inner city area that is our own and not shared. We have fantastic facilities at Casey Fields, however it is outer suburban. The spending for facilities was needed because our VFL/W teams will be based there, and our AFLW team plays home games there, so that is a long term investment. We have access to fantastic facilities at AAMI Stadium however it is shared with Melbourne Victory and Melbourne Storm.
  10. In order for the motion to be carried it needed 75% of the vote in favour.
  11. I'm not a Trident member but I am a Redlegs member and we share the same room, I believe. It's in the Lindsay Hassett Room on the second level of the Southern Stand. Ralph and Michael are the long standing premium members who run proceedings in there, you can sit down and have a counter style meal, they have a full bar and barista, and yes, each week they have a guest speaker, such as a coach or a player.
  12. Makes me wonder what kind of microscope Barrett has.
  13. I'd have Brown in the side ahead of Melksham.
  14. Ooops, I misread, I thought it was Birrarung Marr. I've had a number of photos with both cups, so I'm not so much thinking about me. Casey is still going to be very difficult for many fans to get to by that time, though.
  15. Have you tried to get to Birrarung Marr from Dandenong by 4 pm when you finish work at school at 3.40?
  16. I was really hoping to, but alas that weekend I'm on the Indian Pacific, taking advantage of the fact it's school holidays and I'm ticking off a bucket list item without having to take time off work for it. Damn damn bugger bugger!!!
  17. It should be, it's the weekend NAIDOC Week starts.

I'm talking more about merchandise for AFLW in general, but anyway.
  19. I think it's great. The club has developed great relationships in the area, particularly at Santa Teresa, and I love the fact that it has fostered a fantastic support base for the club, as well as doing great community good. I say keep it going!
  20. On a Monday? Before schools finish up? Seems an odd time to do it.

Ah, yes, I have ordered from there! Just waiting on my order :)
