  1. I'm not pleased, I'm bloody ecstatic!!!
  2. This. Dangerfield was useless first couple of rounds.
  3. This is a fair point. GCS seem to always give us a hard time when we go there. We can't be complacent.
  4. "Ha just their luck coming up against such an in form formidable opponent." This one was my favourite.
  5. I don't understand the logic of having Gold Coast Suns. How viable are they really????
  6. Merge Norf and Horf and call them Norforn

I make the TikToks for the Demon Army, thought you might like to see the ANZAC Eve one I did https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS8w6bb3X/
  8. Good question. I don't know.
  9. I suspect it could be M4, since the club recently secured it for Melbourne members. It only had Melbourne supporters in that bay on the ANZAC Eve match. It's the bay that is directly next to the Demon Army
  10. It's confirmed!!! Four years !!!
  11. Clearly they didn't hear the cheering from us in the last quarter was far louder than they were.
  12. Why is everyone laying into Benny Brown? He kicked 9 goals in the first 3 rounds of this year.
  13. Interesting you say that, I was baffled and annoyed on Twitter by Richmond fans, upon hearing there were neary 84,000 at the G, saying they were all Richmond, and that Melbourne supporters were at the snow. Like we hadn't heard that joke a million times before.....
  14. You would, he was there with his little boy on Thursday. I'll DM you
  15. The morning of the Bulldogs game Today Show asked for sone Dees and Bulldogs cheersquad members yo do a live cross outside the MCG, I met Nana Shaz got the first time. Passionate and person. Her son in law is in the Demon Army, believe it or not.
  16. Yes, that definitely happened. I was at Gather Round and the double header match involving a local team was a bad move
  17. The tickets were for both games, your seat was for both matches. I intended to stay for the Port/Bulldogs game but I left at half time when I got drenched.
  18. Not one of my prouder moments from the early 90s in the cheer squad was (not involving West Coast) we playing Geelong at the MCG, and every time Ablett went near us we'd sing the 131166 Pizza Hut Delivery ad to him. He must have found that really annoying.
  19. My tips this round: Brisbane (only because Collingwood don't have a ruck - So sad, too bad!) Carlton Fremantle Richmond St Kilda Sydney Essendon Melbouirne Geelong
  20. No grudge. Just bitter memories :)
  21. Given how much joy they got out of multiple one point wins last year (or at least less than a goal in the dying seconds of the game) I'd say not!
  22. I'm not sure, I hope not. But that's not what the WCE fans use to defend it, they maintain Viney deliberately put his finger in Lewis' mouth. Kinda weird, but anyway. But if it was vilification, it can certainly explain Lewis' behaviour. Doesn't excuse it, but it explains it.

the practice match at Casey against Richmond behind that cherry picker for the cameraman certainly gave us an idea of restricted view!!!
  24. it was one of many in that time. I still have in my deepest darkest memories being teased by my grandfather in the aftermath of the 87 prelim. I was staying at my grandparents' house in Camberwell while my parents were in Queensland, and as soon as the game ended, I did the whole dramatic thing of running off to my mother's childhood bedroom, closing the door and throwing myself violently on the bed in full wail mode. I could hear Pa laughing at me and Grandma telling him off like he was a school bully. I was 16, it's the first time I remember crying over a football game. Growing up a Melbourne supporter in the 80s with Hawthorn supporting relatives is not all it's cracked up to be :)
  25. Ah, there you go, I must have missed that! Still, there were some weird matches in 2020, thanks to the 'rona :).
