  1. Same, I was sad when they delisted her. Hopefully they find a way to bring her back. She's still only 23
  2. I don't think there's banner making tonight, it's next Tuesday, and I can't go as I have uni :(
  3. Me, I hope!!! Seriously, though, WCW, you give the bestest hugs!! Love ya, and happy birthday for yesterday!!!
  4. There will be a draft, but it will be a smaller draft. It is set to occur on 4 April. It will be a national draft in that candidates can nominate either a state of their origin or national. Candidates must be at least 19.
  5. Tayla told me they delisted her, which she found pretty devastating at the time. I'm so pleased she's happy at Melbourne, she didn't feel supported in the end at Carlton. Her mum told me if it had've been her choice she would have preferred Tayla stay at Melbourne after the exhibition matches. And I agree about the masterstroke of drafting Tahlia. She's a beast!
  6. Oh, I didn't know they did that! Thanks for that bit of info!
  7. Wouldn't it have been Bluey Adams?
  8. I say that all the time, it's my daily mantra! That and Collingwood!!!
  9. Hopefully! The way he comes across he seems very happy.
  10. That was made known when he first came to Melbourne, he was living with "Uncle Nev" when he first came to the club. One of his cousins is a student at my school, she is a Wanganeen. He has family in WA, SA and Vic.
  11. I asked Trent Rivers about Kozzie at the season launch last Wednesday, he told me the whole team is working on him to stay. He seemed pretty confident Kozzie would stay, he said he loves it at Melbourne. Hopefully Trent was right!
  12. You do know our nickname is the Demons, don't you? Seriously, though, I liked the Hells Bells, I thought it was a great level of intimidation to opposition fans. It set a great atmosphere.
  13. They haven't done Hells Bells for a couple of years now. Lately it's been Metalica
  14. I would agree. I also thought Daisy was excellent. I loved the way a couple of times her comments on the game put BT in his place!
  15. Pretty sure I did neither, just trying to figure out what happened
  16. I don't see how hard it is to understand that when you see a membership that states a year on it that it is a year membership. It's essentially a season ticket. The club has options to allow you to roll over year by year, that's the bit that's not that hard. If you join in August it's for the rest of the season, it is not a 12 month membership from that point, it doesn't get you in games for the first few months of the season up until August, so what does that tell you about the membership? What you're saying about the membership discount not being valid in October 2021 doesn't ring true, unless. you were not a member in 2021. I was able to use my membership to get discounted premiership merch at that stage of the year.
  17. This is what irks me about the AFL. All 18 clubs have opted in to support the "Love the Game, Not the Odds" campaign, except the AFL, whose major sponsor is Sportsbet, and last year removed the link to the "Love the Game, Not the Odds" campaign page from the AFL website because Sportsbet had a whinge.
  18. Yep, it was Hawthorn
  19. Do you want to be the one that administers when individual members signed up, given they have tens of thousands of members? Why not elect to roll over your membership, rather than wait until August, when you miss much of the benefits of what memberships provide, ie access to home games?
  20. Membership is for the calendar year regardless of when in the year you join, I believe
  21. Okay there's manipulation of facts and then there's this. Parkdale having a "history of poor behaviour towards male students" is a gross manipulation of what actually happened. They had a guest speaker from the council who said an incredibly stupid thing and was condemned by the school and the Kingston City Council. There, corrected it for you.
  22. ....and to think you're the father of a 6 year old girl...... can't imagine the amount of gaslighting and mansplaining she's going to be enduring in her lifetime.
  23. You cited an article that solely referenced De Goey. My question to you, though, is that you have strong feelings towards treating everyone with respect, particularly in the workplace. What is respectful about presenting yourself in this manner, or in fact referring to a female person as "chick"? Both these acts can easily be interpretted as being disrespectful to women. Explain the context and the purpose if disrespect is not intended. Further, the image in question is quite clearly not in the workplace. Further, it's taken you two weeks for you to find outrage in this? I'd have thought this was old news. The fact only Rita Pahani was the only media commentator (I dare not call her a journalist) that was outraged by this with nothing more than "whataboutism" is rather telling.
  24. Sorry, but I don't see the double standards. Firstly, DeGoey has had multiple incidents of disrespectful/abusive behaviour including a charge of sexual assault. Steph Chiocci hasn't. Secondly, De Goey pulled the top down and exposed the nipple of the woman in the nightclub, to which the video shows her clearly pushing it away. Certainly did not look consentual. Same with the changeroom incidents cited which again show there is not a lot of evidence of things being consentual. In this photo nothing is exposed. Is it consentual? Hard to say, as it's a photo. But anyone arguing the De Goey incident was consentual is kidding themselves.
