  1. I think the reason they did that is because every time they posted AFLW related stuff on their regular Facebook page they got inundated with angry incel posts from misogynistic supporters say they don't want to see the content about women. Sad little men.....
  2. I heard shocking things about crowd behaviour from their qualifying final against Hawthorn. Particularly in booing a Hawks player who was being assisted off the ground, and that behaviour being encouraged by Emma Kearney. Not a great look. At all.
  3. To be fair, his brother* is the black sheep, the rest of the Maynards I'm sure are fine. Particularly with Peter and Corey both being Dees players, and Peter working for MFC. *notice how I said "his brother" - I can't even bring myself to say that a-hole's name. Corey is a lovely guy.
  4. Quite ironic that one of the clubs contacting us was Hawthorn after the game at Frankston in 2023, after that p-weak effort of theirs on that "banner"!
  5. The game is at IKON, it's not at Casey. So you have no excuse.
  6. I'm not convinced. The hair in the beard is too light, plus it's straight - in 2023 when Gus was photographed with a beard it was darker and curly. Plus the ear is a different shape - Gus has a dangly ear lobe whereas imposter Gus doesn't. The top of this person's ear also dips a bit, Gus' doesn't. This person also has a fuller face than Gus. Update on Demons star after horror collisionAngus Brayshaw hasnโ€™t yet discussed his playing future with the Melbourne and turned up for training with the Demons on Tuesday feeling โ€œa lot betterโ€ as he moves through the AFLโ€™s concussion protoco
  7. I was having a lengthy conversation with a staffer who was telling me how much the rest of the playing group have little time for him anymore. He and Clarry in particular have had a massive falling out, to the point that apparently in that famed 12 minute meeting he said "I'm not hanging around if that c&*^ is still at the club". It was uncomfortable hearing that! She also mentioned she heard several groans from some players when Trac said in his speech that "footy is just a job". Many felt then he was leaving.
  8. it was telling at the B&F that none of the players applauded Trac when he came second, or when he was given his life membership. Bridges have been burnt.
  9. She plays for North. That in itself is worthy of nomination in the AFL's eyes. Anything outside of North is according to them second rate, and if its connected to Melbourne, why even consider them? The AFL's love affair with their favourites and contempt they have for us I don't think they're even trying to hide anymore.
  10. How Edo was overlooked it beyond my level of comprehension.....
  11. I was chatting with Caitlin Nobes, the media manager at Melbourne, about this very thing, and she said they recently got a new staff member in charge of socials ,and they've hit the ground running. They're pretty happy with what's being brought to the socials lately.
  12. Spewfest '25?
  13. This is fabulous to hear! Well done, lads!!
  14. Members tickets went on sale at midday on Monday, general admission at 2 pm on Monday.
  15. Yes I do think, but he did ask the question is he welcome at the club if a deal isn't found and was told yes.
  16. The article stated he would look elsewhere but also asked if he couldn't find anywhere to trade to was he still welcome at the club, the answer was yes. I have no doubt he would have looked, but he would have done so knowing he still had security for a year at Melbourne.
  17. I don't. I think the club just got sick of his behaviour. GWS' problem now.
  18. I've been a Redlegs member since 1988, there are a few areas, my area is N1-4, which is the second level up behind the Demon Army, although I don't often sit there since I've taken up active roles in the cheersquad. You do get priority access to finals and guaranteed access to GF as it's a premium membership.
  19. This to me is the telling bit. Two players, May and Clarry, given exactly the same message. One chucked a tanty, the other resolved to get better for the club. We weeded out the culture killer there.
  20. Not much of a yard, but there is a deck off the two lower floor bedrooms. Actually, that floorplan is a really weird layout..... It is a 4 bedroom though, if you sacrifice the upstairs family room to a bedroom. Just doesn't have a door.
  21. This is what we need!!! Anyone got a hat to pass around? Bargain at $1.2 million!!! https://www.realestate.com.au/sold/property-house-vic-mulgrave-145525916
  22. Maybe look at the Real Estate website to see which properties on the boundary might be up for rent in the interim! Kidding of course.
  23. Not from what I've heard. Was talking to a staffer who pretty much confirmed his alienated himself from the rest of the playing group. None of them clapped for him at the best and fairest. And more than a few rolled their eyes at his interview on the stage. No one was impressed with him that night.
  24. To be fair what has weakened our midfield was when we lost Gus. I think it'll take a year or two but I think the young ones coming through, particularly Harvey, will be strong.
