I think for me the whole thing I found upsetting and had me disillusioned was the media discourse around the whole Maynard thing. That had me just about walking away from AFL for a moment. Not from the club, never from our club or our team, but from the AFL. I was over it.

I actually like Collingwood in the AFLW, but Brisbane are for me the Collingwood of the AFLW. Dee Heslop thought she could get away with lying in the tribunal like Maynard, and it didn't work for her. Well, Diddums, Heslop. Shame Mullens got off for elbowing Heater in the head, though.

Wouldn't it be great if they can incorporate the digital membership with a standard membership, so it includes admission as well as Kayo.

I received my email in the week between prelim and grand finals. I renewed then.

Gabby is still on rehab, she was doing some strengthening work inside on her achilles before joining the main group.

I spoke with her at the sponsors lunch a couple of weeks ago, when I mentioned "You're losing your male 23 counterpart", she looked sad and said "I know, I'm going to miss James!"

I tend to agree, I met him a couple of time, and he's just a lovely person. I for one will miss him at Melbourne. I hope he does well at Sydney Just not against us!

Tayla is not that kind of person, she's a beast on the footy ground as she is in the boxing ring, but she's got a hell of a lot of restraint. She's certainly not in the Barry Hall category, put it that way. If you ever get a chance to meet Tay, you'll see she's in reality a quiet, reserved person, and just loves people.

So excited, I love Jordi! She's the most beautiful human :)
