  1. Replay showed a nasty ankle twist (on the non strapped knee)
  2. Jack viney 5 tackles 😤
  3. We are working our way back into this game. Good response from the midfield and defence.
  4. Tholstrup pressure immense in the backline
  5. On top of the fanatic work rate, he just looks much more smooth and classy this year. Champion player, love Nibs.
  6. I think it works out very well for us. Gives us the freedom to go full steam ahead for the next 3 matches instead of being too cute with mid-game load management. My hope is that we win 2/3 before the bye. Port at home will be the biggest challenge imo.
  7. Our efficiency and defensive stinginess gives me good vibes for this game. All of Swans, GWS and Port had shootouts against teams i don't rate very highly. Super stingy team defence >>>> run and gun repeat inside 50 footy
  8. With the injuries and lack of VFL form, I suspect we will need to grind this out till the bye.
  9. We have used a lot of our draft hand to take punts on key position players and our midfield depth has suffered a lot because of it
  10. I will wait and see for the Casey results before thinking about changes. Tomlinson is not well favoured by the FD and I liked Petty, Hore, Tmac as our key pillars today. Fingers crossed Fullarton is ready and he can slot right in.
  11. 6 Petracca 5 Fritsch 4 ANB 3 Sparrow 2 Rivers 1 Howes
  12. Gussy was calling Jud, Knives McVee
  13. As Binman said, there would have been some variation as the players take spells on the bench.
  14. I would say billings played wing hf. Old school strategy would say there can be only one winger on each side. But I think the running was shared between windsor/billings to protect their gas tanks. i blieve he started outside forward 50 at the bounce, ran to the midpoint to recieve the ball off a chain in the back half and then rn back to forward 50 to link again into the forward 50.
  15. Sorry yes the afl app, when you select the player summary at the match finish
  16. Don't think so, was certainly around last year and prior. It is just cropped screenshots from the AFL as well.
  17. Thoughts on our use of the wings? Langdon appears to be back to his best with gut run and link. Something new I was us splitting our offensive wing between Windsor from HB to center, and then billings from center to HF. The conditions and game plan suited Billings strengths to a tee.
  18. 6 May 5 Oliver 4 Gawn 3 Billings 2 Kozzzzzzzy 1 Chandler
  19. Great win, loved seeing our game style in action today. Comprehensive win, no passengers today.
  20. We haven't named a sub so perhaps a tall will be our sub tomorrow
  21. Actually less of this stuff, this a video about the round 0 debutants! Posted just before the teams for round 1, how silly from the media crew.
  22. Medium forwards are not a priority
  23. In: Woey, Kozzy Out: Bowey, Spargo Yes Schache sucked, but Fullarton is coming back from injury, has had minimal exposure to our system with no game time in the 2s. With Petty back against the Hawks, I would hold out against including Fullarton. Spargo is well underdone and with a sore achilles, he should be dropped. Laurie has put in a lot of work and deserves time in the 1sts to build some synergy with the team. Bailey, Chandler or Billings to start as sub. Woey comes into HB instead of Hore as we will be way to tall in the backline otherwise. Woey will be more competitive and tougher than Billings as others have suggested.
  24. Petty in 👌
