  1. Imo we get him for a cheap pick and not much salary discount or huge salary discount and a 1st rounder
  2. I think the 2nd point is a bit overplayed. In the 1st quarter May kicked it to just the left corner of the centre corner square a handful of times which led to inside 50s and overlap run. We have cards up our sleeve.
  3. Bit of a shame, maybe more half forward/mid/wing would work better because he can kick well off both feet. We have enough ball winners with less flexibility.
  4. He is a good ball user when provided time and space, but if you're a clearance player you're DE is going to suffer a lot.
  5. Goody said they were waiting for an opportunity to put him in the midfield for a while, then Harmes had his concussion. Coincidently that lined up exactly with the contract signing.
  6. Our forward line has been hugely critiqued for a lack of forward pressure. Indeed, Fritta was off and didn't kick his usual handful of goals. Instead he knuckled down and applied plenty of pressure. Would love for him to kick a bag every week but he has shown improvements to his game when he can't manage to get involved on the scoreboard.
  7. I love hunty, has steadily brought back his trade mark dash while adding some really neat aggressive kicking to the team
  8. I don't a mind a bailey fristsch game with 1 goal 8 tackles
  9. We also have a whopping 3 players on our injury list One of which is expected to make a quick return from a very bad injury
  10. Flooding back with memories of Gawns break out game against geelong in (2016? 2017?) With the great Spencil. Cool to see him back.
  11. Would be okay for chandler in to manage kozzy's knee Earned a full run in the seniors
  12. Don't mind We are all very frustrated about last week but we lost by 8 points to a team on a 10 game streak. Let's back em in to again and get it done right this time.
  13. Hate Collingwood but I do like Craig McRae
  14. The prospect of making this deal is looking worse and worse Imagine trading out Jacko and a first rounder and getting grundy on a monster contract at the end of this 🤮
  15. I understand the lack of offense but I don't think he should be the scape Goat. His poor offense is symptomatic of the whole team. Petracca, Oliver and viney deserve way more blame. They rack possessions and waste them regularly. ANB was not the main player dump kicking it into the forward line.
  16. ANB is ranked as elite for tackles and pressure acts this season. He sacrifices his game to enable others to play there's. Our gut run players are critical for team structure.
  17. In: bowey Harmes Out: Hunt Sparrow JVR for melk is a dream
  18. When i look at forward lines i see a taller, lankier KPF with a long reach and a more dense and compact KPF. Tall/big wing span - King brothers, J Cameron, BB, Weid, Hipwood Danniher, Kennedy, Curnow Heavy - TMAC, JVR, Hawkins, Darling, McKay I think we have two of the same types in weid and BB and TMAC being a huge piece missing. Depending on the player the tall/long or heavy can be the roaming mobile tall. Currently, BB and Weid are not mobile at all and so Hogan would suit as that roaming tall. Also shows a clear lack in our tall KPF stocks. We are desperate for a King or Curnow.
  19. Thommo must have market value to a lot of clubs needing a ready made key defender. We'd be struggling for KPD depth without him though.
  20. Idea? Freo: revieve Jackson Doggiez: Lobb, future first and/or second split between freo and dees Dees: naughton I think the real difficult part of this idea is how to compensate the doggies on a player signed to an elite player signed to a 4 year contract. I do think a 3 way trade is likely between us all since I also have trouble deciding how freo will compensate us in a trade. Maybe involving Collingwood (grundy) or north (larkey).
  21. I thought Gunston was a bit over the hill but should definitely be a target. Still has a lot to give and could help JVR develop his craft
  22. De goey murdering us Easy clearances Easy goals
  23. Anb and others are forcing a stoppage by receiving the tackle. Creates lots of stoppages and clearances But not using it well at all
  24. I love it. We are game and ready to take on the challenge. Collingwood have been on a hot streak but we will be the one's to end it and remind the competition who is no 1.
  25. Harmes TOG against port was 69% Again, very very similar
