For the doubters of the Vince trade, have a read of the Adelaide forum on bigfooty. Most of them are very upset he's left. I read things like "excellent disposal", "smart decision maker", "most skilful midfielder at the club", "will miss his long goals from outside 50", "great clubman" I think we have ourselves a solid B grader, which is fair compensation for pick 23/Sylvia

I'll be disappointed if we don't get Vince.

If we only get pick 38 ish for the Sylvia compo and Adelaide walk away, I see this as a big set back. Vince is exactly what we need. We can't go into next year with the same midfield less Sylvia. (Although here's hoping Michie is a handy in)

Considering we put a D grader in Pederson on 3 years, I have no issue taking a punt on Michie for the same term.

He needs to tell the club of his intentions before next Friday, if he wants out, then we can trade him before he becomes a free agent in 12 months.

I'd rather trade Frawley now rather than he leave next year for free agency and we get less compensation.

Would still be a far better option than Byrnes as our small forward.

I acutally don't think pick 20 is overs for Vince, considering our circumstances and dire need of a midfielder. We got Dawes for pick 20 and he only delivered us 11 games with only 5 or 6 being satisfactory. You'd like to think Vince could surpass that next year, assuming injury free. A proven midfielder is more valuable than a second round draft pick IMO.

Anyone that's managed to kick 4 goals in a game is of interest to me.
