Frost lost his spot in the side after Ben Brown destroyed him in Hobart last year. Pretty sure he won’t be playing this week and most certainly won’t be going anywhere near Brown.

I hate watching Ex dees do well for other clubs. Jack Watts’ 3 goals made me sick in the guts for his Port debut. Watching Howe take speccies and become one of the better defenders in the league hurts heaps. But to be happy with Scully copping a 16-20 week injury Is poor form!

I just want to avoid a quarter where we lose it by 4-5 goals. Thus, the result should take care of itself.

I guarantee you North will beat us next week if the usual suspects like Brown, Waite, Cunnington, Tarrant and Higgins kill us as usual. Oh, and Mason Wood will get recalled and kick his 3 or 4 as he always does against us. Next week goes further than a danger game. It’s a game we will clearly lose unless we play 4 qtrs of our ABSOLUTE best footy. I’m not trolling or being sarcastic. North absolutely own us and it’s an embarrassment and a disgrace that they have an 11 year winning streak over us.

That about sums up last week's loss perfectly. Another poor result, to add to the many poor results this group has been churning out on a regular basis since that Sydney game at the G last year.

It crossed my mind over summer that there's no way Hibberd will replicate his amazing 2017 All Aust season. Hopefully it was just an off game for him.

I don't think he's all that far away from a trot in the magoos. He was poor on the weekend with only 3 touches in a half. Didn't do much in the JLT. Ended last season poorly by his own admission. Needs to regain his sparkling first half of 2017 form and we'll be the better for it.

I'm tempted to bring Frost back as it will make Lever's game better. Lever excelled as the third key defender for Adelaide, but was clearly found wanting as our second key defender V's Geelong. Poor coaching by us, good coaching by them, and a poor performance by someone we paid the farm for. However, will Frost make us overall better?? The stats will back it up that he loses too many 1-on-1's and some of his disposals are too costly.

I don't thank Jordan at all for turning the momentum their way. I think we were 9 points up at that stage and looking the better side. [censored] leadership.

Salem’s played more ordinary games than good ones over his career and literally does not have a defensive bone in his body. Some of his tackle attempts yesterday were under 12’s stuff. Salem might become a good player, but at the moment he’s an ordinary AFL player with nice skills.

I wish Salem or Lewis had that last shot at goal. Salem's a very ordinary player I'm afraid, but is highly skilled and has already kicked a match sealer (Ess in 2014) Lewis is a brilliant set shot and the nerves wouldn't have gotten to him. Who else would've you liked the ball in hand?

Imagine if we lost to Brisbane and then North.

Apart from the odd cameo by each, I thought neither brought particularly anything to the table.

THE only positive I see with our Rd 23 loss was that we’re going to see 2 more years of this rabble under Buckley. I have a die hard Collingwood colleague at work who regrets beating Melbourne in Rd 23. She was happy for 5 minuets after the game. Now she’s in misery for a further 2 years.

But it’s also worth noting that Tyson and Brayshaw are 2 of his love childs.

Tyson must be wondering where his footy is at right now. A former top 3 draft pick overlooked in preference to an NBL basketballer. Can’t blame a lack of pre season as he had a JLT game and a Casey hit out.

Kicking 3 goals against a bottom 4 side in a 50 point home game win is hardly an amazing performance. But if Watts kicks 4 goals in a winning BOG performance at the SCG next week and we lose to Geelong and Brisbane I'm seriously going to lose my [censored].

JKH is the quintessential list clogger. A 5 year player that's no where near round 1 selection.

Until he consistently starts ripping apart the VFL (which you'd hope starts this year) he won't be getting too many games in the seniors. I'm assuming we passed up Charlie Curnow purely based on behavioral issues.

We can’t use injuries as an excuse as Geelong have Danger, Henderson, S Selwood and Cockatoo out.

Hopefully not at the expense of Garlett which some around here have been mooting.

Pedo plays his best footy when he’s filling in for someone. Hopefully he has a big month and doesn’t have games where he completely goes missing.
