  1. I also heard at the time that Taylor (and other recruiters) rated him a top 10 player if he hadn't been injured throughout his junior years.
  2. I guess Joel Smith, VDB and KK could do with some more company in rehab.
  3. We’re such a nice and accomodating club.
  4. Hopefully the club puts out a statement sooner rather than later declaring our intentions, just so we don't have 250 pages on this thread. I highly doubt we'll be interested in picking up a high priced inconsistent player.
  5. 2 goals a game at the lower level probably warrants slight consideration. We need to add depth to our forward stocks. It's critical IMO as we'll just end up losing the majority of games next year if T Mac goes down again for weeks. The forward line we put out against Sydney (Melksham as the number 1 key forward) was a disgrace and poor list management.
  6. Was outstanding against Freo with 2 gls and pretty good vs Hawthorn. Something to work with and hopefully a full pre season will be beneficial for him.
  7. Bargain of the decade if he can get healthy. And didn't they trade 4 picks for Brad Hill. That's not a bargain!
  8. Pies got a discount there if he plays a couple of full and injury free years.
  9. He says the game is coming back to the G but in reality it will be transferred to Marvel in my opinion. Great result that we’re getting out of there though.
  10. Will the probable delistings of Stretch and JFK give us additional picks in the national draft of will they be used for rookie upgrades?
  11. Agreed, I was saying it in jest a little. However, if we were to trade pick 3 for Finlayson, I’d be wanting some pretty damn valuable assets back our way. Finlayson has a good finals series but to get 1 possession in a grand final is simply pathetic.
  12. Are we gambling on Joel Smith having an injury free year to supplement our key forward stocks? He did kick 6 goals in the JLT and looked quite good.
  13. Not sure someone who got literally 1 possession in the grand final should be someone we should be giving up a top 10 pick for??
  14. What! You weren’t bouncing off the ceiling when we beat GC by a point?
  15. This would be the first question i’d be asking at the members forum next month.
  16. Tiny sample space but I didn’t mind what I saw from Jordan against Richmond in the first JLT game, and that was before even playing a VFL game. Sparrow kicked an excellent goal against collingwood in the unofficial practice match but didn’t show much in his first 2 senior games. A pity he couldn’t get a full VFL season in as he missed the second half of the season.
  17. Hibberd was outstanding against Hawthorn and then the following week against GC before he busted his shoulder. Aside from that week and a half, I doubt Hibberd player 1 decent game.
  18. Gone from averaging 27 touches in his 2017 AA year to 17 in 2019. A player going backwards at an alarming rate. May see time at Casey if he doesn’t lift next year.
  19. Any player that has kicked 8 goals in a game of footy whom you can get for close to minimum chips should be warranting some careful consideration over the next 48 hours Particularly for a side that has one of the worst forward lines in the league
  20. Good. GC should try and get Max as well just to pizz off St Kilda.
  21. So our leading goal kicker kicked 22 goals this year and we prioritise other positions to trade in. Our number 1 forward is now constantly getting injured and our number 2 is still establishing himself at suburban footy grounds when not injured. That’s why Mahoney and Co get paid the big bucks and us posters have no idea, right?
  22. In fairness he did show glimpses of something in 2018. He can’t be that far off the mark if he’s kicking 2 goals and setting up others in a high stakes semi final.
  23. The AFL should offer Ben King a $1 million dollar bonus (on top of his salary) if he re-signs with GC next year, rather than giving them pointless draft picks.
  24. I'm expecting them to play all year.
  25. Strikes me as a player that’s getting slightly worse by the year.
