  1. Would be great to see BBB come out firing after his 2 week break. 4 goals to him, 3 to Kossie, 3 to Max Oh yeah!
  2. You know nothing about the nature of his mental health. Nor do I. But you are saying he is faking mental health because he can't take the public backlash. That's called minimising the complexities of mental health Empathy not your strong suit, obviously Carry on
  3. Any announcement from Buddy or management? Reporter simply said "it is my understanding that..."
  4. Maybe Mr Steve lives on a horse stud farm. The rest I'd prefer not to think about...
  5. Wowee! Pro violence and a dig at mental health in one post. Well done
  6. Hawks would've had 3 top 10 picks each of the last 10 years if that was the case! 🤣
  7. Yes and no. Voss is doing exactly that at Carlton. Another 12 months and they might be top 4. Fagan as a first time coach at lowly Brisbane and now doing a very good job. Ten years ago your comments would have been spot on. These days it's more case by case. I think Ooze is a terrific coach-in-waiting. If he doesn't succeed at GWS or North I reckon he's too good to be overlooked at another club that suits his approach. But hey, let's hope he stays for the 3 peat!
  8. Brett Ratten and Michael Voss say hi. I think that 2nd chances will become more accepted by AFL clubs
  9. Go naturalist. Best way to use those medallions
  10. This has got to be the dumbest shaped 'oval' of all time. Looks like a flat tyre on my car
  11. Or... we trade for talls already in the system that meet our specific needs. May, Lever, BBB. I'm more in the camp that the the draft is a bit of a lottery. We paid 2 x 1st rounders for Lever, pick 6 for May. If Dogga leaves, I'd hope we use the pick/s to go hard on an established key forward. That is, unless we have a FA in mind for next year.
  12. We don't know Dogga's personal circumstances Lots of young people reassessed their priorities over the pandemic. Maybe he did too He might be 3 hours away, but can only get there a handful of times per year. That we might have family we miss living OS doesn't invalidate his homesickness, if that's what he has. Not that I'm saying you are ElDiablo. Sadly it didn't work out for Hogan, but Jackson is a completely different cat Should Dogga go, he will possibly get paid more to play in WA surrounded by family and friends. Win/win for him Hopefully we will get a good deal. It would free up lots of cap space. I trust Taylor and Lamb to make the most of whatever happens
  13. FMD Last time... Hamish was clearly stirring the pot when he mentioned more midfield time, money and possibly moving clubs in an interview the day before Gus' re-signing was announced. He would've known that Gus had re-signed, or at the very least that he was staying. FWIW, Goodwin said that throwing Gus into the midfield had been considered for a number of weeks now and that this was an opportunity to do that and put him on his brother (a wry smile as he said it) And no, I am not claiming Gus played in the midfield last night for a pizz take, just that there's a bit of fun in Hamish's comments I won't respond further on this, as its not in the spirit of Binman's thread
  14. Exactly. I reckon Gus loves to get a reaction. I mentioned elsewhere that he and he and Hamish were stirring the pot the day before Gus' announcement with some of the comments. I thought it was clearly a bit of a pizz take. Yet some panicked over it
  15. And Libba has Bart and Homer Simpson on his. Just thought I'd write that for no other reason than to illustrate Libba's terrible taste
  16. Has he bought a house in Perth recently?
  17. Busy doing this
  18. Plus the Tex Walker one where we were apparently in the box seat with a 2+1 contract... until he re-signed with the crows the following day, lol!
  19. Yes, many jumping at shadows yesterday. Was good for a laugh, though!
  20. Looks like Hamish and Gus were stirring the pot after all, lol! A lot of Nervous Nellie's on here last night look a bit silly now. But he's signed and we can all be happy with that. Go Dees!
  21. IMO it would be highly inappropriate and unprofessional for Hamish to reveal this level of detail about Gus without it having an element of pot stiring or perhaps with a wry smile towards the AFL media. Would be worse if Gus agreed for him to speculate seriously about his playing position or financials. Every AFL coach would cringe at that if it were totally serious One thing is certain, if Gus does leave there will be a lot of tears on this thread!
  22. Yes, indeed. Still the point remains that he could be saying it to stir the pot and plenty around here have reacted with panic
  23. And gee, his brother wouldn't possibly be stirring the pot, seeing that Freo would be one of his main suitors? Wouldnt want him to come over and play with him at Freo? Nah... wouldn't be that naive I reckon they'd both be having a laugh at it all, doubt Andrew would seriously reveal his brother's intentions Gus might stay or he might leave, none of us have a clue really. Its hilarious reading posters jumping at shadows at every turn! Maybe ask the team bus driver if he knows more, lol
