POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
That head high impact to Dunstan was pretty rubbish. Was already being tackled and the other bloke elected to shoulder into his head. Should be reported for that.

2022 Match Review Panel
The closest similar incident I could think of to Cotchinâs studding was Campbell Brownâs 4 week suspension for studding James Strauss in the face back in 2013. Was deemed a secondary action requiring Strauss to get medical attention - together with Brownâs appalling record. Whilst Cotchinâs was a secondary movement too, Walker didnât need medical attention and Cotchin has a relatively good record. Good call, play on.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Iâve got a standing annual bet with a Bulldogs mate on which team finishes higher on the ladder. Been going on for about 7 years and has cost me dearly⊠but not this time! It rotates between a keg party or long lunch, and todayâs the day! If you live around Nortcote, there is a strong weather warning of smugness đ

Wilsonâs Big Call
Her article about Goodwin the day before the grand final was atrocious. Took pot shots at his gambling background, Essendon drug history, divorce and near sacking. Absolute gutter journalism.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
On my 5th full replay. Itâs honestly the best game of football Iâve ever seen.

The turning point
Wow itâs interesting watching that, but just focusing on Jackson. Jackson kept his feet when Martin went to ground twice, in the first clip the Bulldogs nearly had the ball at the start and Jackson immediately ran to the defensive side as a sweeper and the last clip shows how multifaceted Jackson is. English takes himself out of the game after the centre bounce and simply trudges but Jacksonâs speed and intensity makes it like having another midfielder. Sure, Brown has a point that their lack of defensive structure facilitated our scoring and turning point. But it was Jackson and the mids who had to win it in the first place.

Soooo how long can we leave our stuff up for until our houses get egged?- GAMEDAY: Grand Final vs Western Bulldogs
Iâd usually be crumbling, but this is a bit like how we went in with Geelong. Letâs roll them.- First Goal, Norm Smith, most goals, winning margin

Trust me⊠red wine and pasta- GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
Iâve gained 2kg over the past two weeks. I canât stand this anymore. Iâm a nervous wreck. Been trying to find comfort in wine and pasta. Made the mistake of watching one of our H&A games against the Dogs⊠you better believe that resulted in a 2014 Shiraz and pasta, butter and cheese. One more sleep to go. Thinking spagbol tonight.- Earthquake...a bad omen

Pandemics, riots and earthquakes⊠the Demons are coming đ- SEN interviews with past Melbourne players and staff.
Acknowledged his role was unlikely to continue when you get beaten by 186 points. Showed and read his diary entry for that day he got axed. Certainly didnât get on Demonland 9 years later to have an unrelated pot shot.- SEN interviews with past Melbourne players and staff.
He was a guest at a virtual work workshop I was at a couple of weeks ago. Was frank about the past (Richmond and Melbourne), his firings, depression, life in general and life after football. No comments as youâve described, but a lot more decorum than you.- What would a premiership mean to you?
Iâve never been embarrassed to wear the red and blue. Certainly, it could have been easier, but it wasnât. We were in a tough spot. $5m in debt at the start of the GFC, two expansion clubs, free agency and an ageing list. There have been a lot, particularly within this administration who have gotten us here, and sure things didnât go well with coaching and draft selections back then, but my gosh Jim picked us up and put us on this journey. For if he didnât start us off I donât know if we would be here. This win would mean the world for me, but deep down this one is for Jim. - Flying the flag
