The dribble from the commentary box tonight was atrocious. 5 minutes on LJ and 3 minutes on stucko. Call the game! Pearls of wisdom such as… Taylor: “wow the ball spun and bounced backwards. If that bounced over the line if would have been deliberate. What do you make of that? Brayshaw: “I guess it’s the oval shape of the ball…” Enoughs enough. Get rid of these idiots.

Would love to hear from people at the game. How were we behind the ball? Looked like the set up was unreal. Did our forwards press up, or have they started to hang some one loose?

How good was that. Pumped for Kozzi. Looked like players from both teams were cooked in the heat. Will be against us travelling and -2 days from Bulldogs, so hopefully some light training.

Kozzi in the middle would be elite… no one would be safe.

I wouldn’t say maximum capacity, they were missing Stewart who, apart from literally taking players out, is a massive part of their game.

Apart from Rounds 20-21 (Collingwood-Carlton), we won’t be playing back to back games in the same State. Our most advantageous rounds are Port and Carlton. We should be neutral against Collingwood.

SDK played as a spare for the first half. After that was generally one on one. Our forwards sat up quite high on the 50 to the centre square, which meant that we ended up kicking too long and turning it over. A couple of times we were lucky and had some speedsters to get out back. Would have like to have seen our forwards head back to goal to create space on a tight oval. Worst thing that could happen is that we’d get a stoppage.

After losing a bet (where winner gets a gift) I found myself at the Geelong merchandise shop. Unbelievably they were sold out of Gryan Miers badges. Settled for getting a Narkle instead.

I’m driving down there with two “mates” who are Geelong supporters. They’ve been living in a fantasy land and I’d love it if we burst it again this year.

He also did a cheap hit to Lever’s ribs after Lever intercepted a mark in the 3rd Quarter

I hate how much he dives in marking contests. If he just stuck his arms ups once in a while then he could actually take a good contested mark!!
