Hunt playing well. Good to see. Despite playing poorly we look miles better than them. If we get things to click we'll score heavily, and fast

Brownlow chances for Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver?

Nah Trac is only on 5 votes. J. Bowey, 3 votes -
https://www.leaguetees.com.au/product-tag/fuchsias/ I discovered this site today. Some nice designs in there. Got myself a few

I don't think our mids alone were to blame for the string of goals the dogs got. Her whole team defensive structure fell apart and took time to get back in order. The fact that we still managed to get the 4 points was a huge testament to the ability of our players and the work of our coaches. We must not rush him back but the sooner we can get Lever back in the team the better

I wrote this up a week or so ago, before the season started. I'm not confident the Tigers will make the 8 anymore but i'll stand by it. 1 Demons 2 Swans 3 Lions 4 Dogs 5 Giants 6 Power 7 Tigers 8 Cats 9 Blues 10 Bombers 11 Dockers 12 Eagles 13 Saints 14 Pies 15 Crows 16 Hawks 17 Suns 18 Kangaroos

I thought I saw him spend a lot of time on the bench in the second half talking with the docs and gesturing to his hand. So if I'm right then he played most of the game with it. That's about all I can tell you

GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
Demon4Life replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
I would love to hear that crappy song that the dogs hate us singing playing over the loud speaker while the dogs are doing their warm-up on the ground -
I'm waiting for our reign to come to an end, then I will get a bunch if fuscias tattooed on my chest, one flower for each premiership this team wins

“Sound the Alarm” The Goody Mic'd Up Documentary
Demon4Life replied to Dee Zephyr's topic in Melbourne Demons
What the hell is AFL Live? Is that another subscription service? Will it be in their app? On youtube? -
And an overnight low of 19, so expect it to be warm at the ground

Couldn't get my ticket to work although i was able to log in. Waited on hold for 40 minutes with the club, they reset my password, I logged out and back in again and there it was. I was starting to get a little stressed. Can't wait to sit in my reserved seats again! I don't think I used them at all last year so it's been a long time. I have some dogs to walk and feed near the MCG before the game so I will try to get to them early enough to be in my seat by 6:30 but I fear I will miss the flag unfurling. I will be cutting it close. Bloody Wednesday night game *grumble*

"The Legacy of Gawn & Goodwin" Bloody hell, if that doesn't send chills down your spine your blood doesn't run red and blue

I just got home. Blues supporters will be happy. Any injury worries?

Doesn't that look great! I went straight to my foxtel box to set it to record but at the advertised date and time there's a repeat of afl 360 set to play -

Sorry, I should have been clearer. His 4 goal quarter! -
POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
Demon4Life replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I liked the number of long distance goals we slotted today. Gawn looks very confident with his set shots since his 4 goal demolition of the cats. There was a moment in the third when we were only a goal up with 3:40 left on the clock and were pushing hard, it was a 2-on-3 in the middle of the ground and Kozzy layed a shepherd for Brown who won the ball easily (thanks to kozzy), on to ANB, to Sparrow, to the goal square where Gawn & TMac spoil each other. Kozzy's game was filled with little moments like these. He played a great pressure game, making space for his team mates and putting the doggies under pressure all day and night. -
I liked the pet packages. I got some good stuff for my dogs through those

How many times have you watched the replay?
Demon4Life replied to leave it to deever's topic in Melbourne Demons
I have only rewatched the last quarter of the prelim once but I've watched the first three quarters a handful of times, and am craving a rematch of it again. I haven't listened to the radio calls of it though. Did you find those on YouTube? -

Demon4Life replied to leave it to deever's topic in Melbourne Demons
Too many to count. I think I lost track around 10, but if I had to guess I would say it's around 4 times that now. I also spent an afternoon watching people from around the world reacting to the highlights on YouTube. One in particular stands out, an American who new the final score line and paused the video when Bont put them up by 19 and was completely flabbergasted about how we could pull it off. -
GAMEDAY: AFLW Rd 03 vs St Kilda
Demon4Life replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in AFL National Women's League
This was going to be the first game of the season I was able to attend when the fixture was released but I have too much work. I still hope to be able to watch some of it. St. Kilda have looked very poor in their first two games so hopefully we can put in a really good performance. The weather will be challenging but it was hot last week and we played pretty well -
It looks great. Big red, small orange, yellow, green, Big blue, small indigo & violet at the bottom. I want one, but they're not in the shop yet
-
Thankfully I was at home watching on TV for 186. For 148 I was there until the bitter end.
-
I'm looking forward to purchasing a jumper with the gold logo. I'm thinking the indigenous top, with our Norm Smith medallist's number on the back
-
Unfortunately 186 was not rock bottom for us, as horrible a day as it was. Two years later we won only 2 games. We wouldn't have beaten the worst VFL team that year. I have never seen a team from any club play as poorly as we did during that time. The next year Paul Roos was brought in and we started to turn things around. We finally got to see the fruits of their labour this year and wasn't it fantastic. As good as the final 40 minutes of the GF was it was the PF two weeks before when we put the cats to the sword that I felt we could put that all behind us. The cats kicked two late goals before half time, keeping them in the game. In the second half we saw our captain play his best quarter of football yet as our midfield took control of the game. I was brought to tears ans felt reborn. I still can't watch that quarter dry-eyed. Hallelujah!
