I agree with pretty much all of this. I think our tall forwards are actually developing ok and will hopefully be a fair bit better next year. I personally would rather see a quality mid come in but as you say another X factor forward would be fantastic too.

Surely there is plenty of clubs from Victoria who would want him and could get the deal done. Most Melbourne based clubs aren’t far off finals and with good drafting and recruiting would fancy themselves for finals next year.

I don’t read books but I think I will start once these players and coaches release autobiography’s. Strange times. I have very mixed feelings about this situation. Part of me wants to see him stay and play out his career with us and part of me wants to us get as much as possible for him and have players that actually want to play for the club.

The only chance Hunter has of playing is if everyone else is sick. I have said it before and I will say it again if the club had their time over they would have never gone near Hunter. It’s been a shocking list management decision.

Yes true. I should have said not sure we need him signed up for three more years. I will be fascinated to see how long May’s next contract is.

I love Max and I love the fact he has committed to the club, he will go down as one of the modern greats of our club. I feel a little uneasy about posting this next bit but I think Tim Lamb has been over generous with the length of the contract just like with Ed. Is Max really not going to sign a two year contract? Anyway just my humble opinion.

Each to their own. I think there will be multiple clubs willing to trade and take on his salary. Players of the caliber of Tracc don’t come along very often.

I don’t give a toss how bad GC have been this is an excellent win and probably the most enjoyable win of the year for me.

Yeah we’re making some mistakes but I am actually really enjoying how we are playing today. Max and JV have been fantastic, Turner and Petty pretty good and I think Howes has also been pretty good.

After the first ten minutes I think our effort has been pretty good. Hope they can keep it up.
