Why is a qualifying final on a Sunday? Seems rather odd.

Geez you have more confidence than me. TMac had a good year but is a year older the other two move like treacle and struggle with injury most of the time. Opposition teams would love seeing us lineup with them in our backline in my opinion.

Hopefully a never ending project.

Who will be / should be captain next season? I think with all the changes it’s probably time for a new captain but not sure who.

It’s a little hard explaining exactly why but I am certainly not buying what he is selling me.

So the AFL soft cap for coaching staff was $7.675 million for this year and we had a spare $1 million to pay Goodwin out. No wonder we didn’t bring in any good coaches last offseason. The spin coming out of this club is off the charts. The next season can’t come quick enough.

I hope this guy does a remarkable job for us but I just don’t like him.

GC are a much better chance of winning the flag with both of them, hence they only want to give up picks.

Yep agree the last two years we have lacked another forward. JVR turns 23 early next season and he should be coming into his prime and if we are going to be any good it will be on the back of players around his age taking big steps forward. Hopefully Max Heath might also contribute some handy time up forward. Anyway we see things differently on this and that’s all good.

Each to their own. I definitely don’t want us being crazy young but I also think JVR is of an age where he should be starting to be the number one forward and we already have a couple of older experienced forwards on the list. Then for me hopefully one of LK or Jeffo can be the second big forward.

I think if you think we are a chance of making finals it’s worth the gamble. Personally I don’t think we will and would have rather try to find another younger player.

Or we could be a team that is in the middle for countless years.

Are they still rorting the salary cap? Feels like they’re the Geelong of the Rugby League.

I wouldn’t put it past her. Might just be she needs her travelling interstate routine of about ten coffees, twenty red bulls and a packet of darts to do it though.

I would say the only thing that has hamstrung him, is his own incompetence. Should have been the first person sacked.

I think you are dreaming if you think Salem and Lever will be still contributing in three or four years. Even Petty given how injury prone he is in four years time might be shot.

Mihocek has been a fantastic player relative to his salary at Collingwood and I think he will possibly be serviceable for us. But I am still unsure on our current list build and I am very worried the club is overrating exactly we’re we are at.

Might need to get another club involved.

Not saying they shouldn’t throw a fair bit at getting Trac, but if I was them it wouldn’t involve BH. But that’s just my opinion.

Each to their own. GC have that much talent on their list I expect them to win a flag with or without Trac in the next few years. Humphrey would be one of the core group of untouchable players for mine at GC.

If I am GC I’m not fighting tooth and nail I am simply not trading him under any circumstances.
