Given how badly we are playing at the moment, happy to watch us fall over the line for the win. Not going to get many more on form. I am actually a little optimistic that we might actually start seeing our form turn around. I loved Rivers getting some midfield time, hope Judd gets a go further up the ground at some stage this year too.

Pretty poor second quarter. Good to see Rivers getting a run through the middle though. Oliver still looks miles off being the player he was and I am not sure it’s his fitness that’s holding him back.

I am watching on my phone so it’s a bit hard to but I think we have been ok so far. JV attacking the ball much more like normal.

I quite like watching other teams getting flogged, it’s almost therapeutic. Particularly when the team has a [censored] as a coach.

The decision by us to go after Grundy and Grundy to choose us is one of the most baffling list management decisions made for a long time.

Our goal kicking is / has been remarkably abhorrent in big games more often than not, for a couple of years. Not sure they were that lucky.

Season not gone? Seriously where no chance this year. Where still a slim chance for finals but where making up numbers this year.

It’s pretty sad we have gone from being the hardest team to play against for years to this.

Can someone please explain to me how umpires pay so many free kicks to forwards for holding and high contact. Yet players through the midfield get held onto all the time and high contact particularly when there are a few players on the ground on top of the ball? It’s great watching the always classy Bombers supporters leaving early.

If Essendon get up and win this hard to see them missing finals.

He was a star, Shaun Burgoyne. Terrible voice for a commentator though.

I can’t believe I am watching Fox at the moment and they haven’t talked about that umpiring decision yet. I think I need to step back from watching so much AFL, I am finding myself getting frustrated with the umpiring in neutral games. The standard and inconsistency since the AFL went to four umpires has diminished dramatically in my view.
