  1. Listening to Jono Brown and Buckley having a crack at Garry Lyon over whether the Melbourne fans will turn up on Thursday on Fox Footy makes me wanna throw up. What is with these morons. The game is a sellout! Have they any idea? This myth about us having small crowds has been dispelled by stats again this year. Pizz of Bucks and Brown. Then having Lyon bow to there jibes and urge Dees fans to show up, just get stuffed
  2. Genuine question, what games in the wet have we lost this year..the two I recall are GWS and Essendon
  3. No mention of the fact we kicked 18 behinds last time we played them. The margin should have been +6 goals. A lot of excuses from Pies fans on the KB game. Completely ignored we were without 6 premiership players that day
  4. Would rather Bailey Smith, and all his baggage (pardon the pun), than Parish. We would love more leg speed, something he doesn't offer.
  5. Surely not...Collingwood and Carlton isn't a problem for the AFL, so they can get stuffed.
  6. Hahaha. I guess I must be important because I was wearing a suit.
  7. Nice to meet you yesterday WCW! Not sure if you remember, but I said gday to you out on the ground. The banner looked magnificent
  8. Bailey Laurie is a massive DELIST for mine. His fumble there on the forward flank shows limited football ability. Fwiw…this Casey team is plying big ordinary football. No cohesion at all
  9. Wet conditions made our forward like look inept. Scrambley ply in the midfield led to poor entries. Time to right it against hawthorn. Grundy is not the answer. He once again played more ruck minutes and impacted the continuity of Gawn’s game. Good bloke. Good player. Unbalances our side. VFL today will be very interesting. We get a look at Schache and TMac. I would think one of those two has to be included for the finals to cover the absence of Petty. Say what you will about Schache, but at least he can mark and kick straight (mostly). he can play the Petty role, which is when we looked to have our most balanced side.
  10. Even more reason for him to keep running as he had about 20 more metres ahead of him.
  11. Grundy ain’t a forward and the conditions certainly did not help his cause. It’s unbalanced the structure though. It looked off. Rather Schache, who is a versatile, albeit soft, Footballer . We miss the 2nd genuine forward, and just didn’t seem to have much through the midfield tonight. The wet is our nemesis. Completely takes away that intercept marking game.
  12. Honestly…as soon as you mentioned dropping McVee you proved that you have NFI. What a bad take
  13. Just read the sad news that Jeff Hilton passed away this week. Was a terrific player for the Dees in 1994. Reading the news on the St Kilda website, it sounds like he had been experiencing personal troubles in his life. Very sad.
  14. Is @Redleg suggesting that we are going to have an announcement today?
  15. Being ok at 27 and on the fringes isn’t really what is expected max he has not addressed the areas of deficiency
  16. I’ve always liked Harmes, but what exactly did you see today that you liked? He slipped over all day. Tried to do too much as usual. Kicked the ball out on the full with no pressure. Constantly goes backwards with the ball and takes on the tackle. Was caught holding the ball too often. Missed his opportunities on goal. Dropped marks. Happy to hear what you liked
  17. Shocking start. Ziebell doing as he pleases. Lazy by us. Goodwin getting Clarksoned
  18. What I don't get is the talk from the media that MFC will have to pay Grundy's contract if he decides to move. On what planet do these morons live? IF Grundy were to request a trade, it is he who would want to break the contract, giving him no right to demand a contract payout. I do NOT think MFC actually want him off their books. He is a great backup to Gawn and will play games next year and beyond. The nonsense around Grundy is just another example of the media hatred for the MFC. It's all negative press for the Dees, as usual. Get stuffed media!
  19. I'll take Port at the Gabba, because I have no idea how it happens
  20. What is with the Petty obsession? He proved he could not cut it as a forward and his form this year as a back has been very scratchy. Constantly run down in the backline due to lack of awareness. Can't play 1 on 1. As a forward he hasn't been able to compete 1 on 1 and doesn't bring the ball to ground nearly as effectively as Brown. It's really funny how some players are harshly judged and others seem to be viewed through rose coloured glasses.
  21. I reckon people are harsh on brown.. he gets sheizen delivery. When he was out in space he was ignored. He was all alone inside 50 in a central position when JVR took a mark in the centre square , JVR turned his back, then kicked to him out wide on the souther stand side , not to his favour. I think he is judged harshly
  22. I saw Dunstan had a big game in the VFL, I’d be considering bringing him in for Hunter, and pushing Gus to the wing. Run kozzie in the middle and use Rivers too
  23. Trac was way off it. Twice he was streaming inside 50 and had grass ahead and chose to overdo the handball and cooked us. He missed targets in the field and missed goals he should have kicked. Very fumbly and trying to overcomplicate things.
