  1. Spot on. He slipped over all night and made several basic skill errors. His kicking was bloody awful. The Collingwood game was the same
  2. Pick 6 or 7 for 170cm small forward is a no for me. We need an elite midfielder who can deliver inside 50. The way we are entering inside 50 means this bloke would be completely useless. We either kick to the opposition or to a position where it is easily belted away, effectively clearing danger of a roving small forward.
  3. Just brought myself to watch the replay. Geeez that last kick from Viney was an absolute shocker. On so many levels. He ignored the handball to Trac. That was mistake one. Then had Smith over the top of weitering or Kozzie one on one ahead inside 50, he mongrels the [censored] out of it and puts it on weiterings chest. It really is one of the great clangers of all time. Too much going on in his mind and tried to be too cute. The long ball inside 50 most likely would have resulted in a boundary throw in and time to look it in our forward 50. That loss has to burn for an entire summer. We need to get the forwardline settled and bring a few in and shift some dead wood. Man oh man we blew it for ourselves
  4. Viney and Langdon must wear the same boots. Constantly slipping over
  5. Bigger body runs around like a headless chook. He has no strength and was easily moved aside by his opponent all bloody night. It was infuriating! He also doesn’t offer leads. What on earth was his role? And to give away 50 at a crucial stage. That’s the moment I would have subbed him to be honest.
  6. Top post. We cost ourselves despite being the better team. The decision to leave Tom McDonald on should attract heavy criticism. It was completely insane to leave him on the ground.
  7. Goodwin’s greatest ever coaching blunder. I was calling for TMac to be subbed before half time. My mate said they’d see if we copped an injury in the 3rd and then do it. Nup. Not us. Let’s leave the titanic turning in the Yarra out there for a little while longer. Pathetic management
  8. Imagine sitting there, telling us about all the forwards we had lost this year, then thinking about the fact that he played TMAC who is completely gone for the two finals, while Schache sat as an unused sub and Grundy played 2s or not at all. Wow
  9. I’m hearing that Spargo is set for recall. Usually good authority
  10. Get over guys…I am angered, but we have a game of football to win. MFC, if they are fair dinkum, will channel the aggression on Friday night and win. I’d be happy to win and get a few suspensions, just to make a point. Practice the flying smother bumps this week
  11. Will Carlton be forced to wear their clash jumper next week? Given we had to wear ours against the Pies
  12. based on the closing of the loophole after the Cripps incident, they can't.
  13. Protect himself from what? Brayshaw wasn’t contesting a ball, like the Cripps incident. Anyone that thinks Maynard didn’t know exactly what he was doing doesn’t know the character of the bloke. Fact is he turned the shoulder to bump him. He initiated the contact. He elected to leave the ground. It’s careless high impact. He is gone. It’s actually not much different to Kozzy on Smith this year. Initially Pickett jumped to affect the kick and then turns mid air
  14. Listening to Jono Brown and Buckley having a crack at Garry Lyon over whether the Melbourne fans will turn up on Thursday on Fox Footy makes me wanna throw up. What is with these morons. The game is a sellout! Have they any idea? This myth about us having small crowds has been dispelled by stats again this year. Pizz of Bucks and Brown. Then having Lyon bow to there jibes and urge Dees fans to show up, just get stuffed
  15. Genuine question, what games in the wet have we lost this year..the two I recall are GWS and Essendon
  16. No mention of the fact we kicked 18 behinds last time we played them. The margin should have been +6 goals. A lot of excuses from Pies fans on the KB game. Completely ignored we were without 6 premiership players that day
  17. Would rather Bailey Smith, and all his baggage (pardon the pun), than Parish. We would love more leg speed, something he doesn't offer.
  18. Surely not...Collingwood and Carlton isn't a problem for the AFL, so they can get stuffed.
  19. Hahaha. I guess I must be important because I was wearing a suit.
