  1. Absolutely, I do. A decision driven by family and not himself entirely. It was a “there’s more to life than football” sentiment. Would not be surprised if he hangs them up. The nonsense of him going to Collingwood is complete [censored] though. Who makes that stuff up. What evidence? What would they have to give up to even satisfy that trade?
  2. Spot on. Demonland rules at their finest. You can’t post rumours if they risk litigation, even when true, but here’s this nonsense getting through the gate
  3. Listening to Tracc on 360, I doubt we will see him for quite some time. It’s very apparent, and understandable, that his fiancé was deeply traumatised by what happened. There is the whole ‘life after football’ tone to the way he spoke tonight. I think he has some big decisions ahead of him and a lot will be decided by his experiences during recovery. whilst he denied that family were upset at the club, he kind of said that they were in fact angry. I have heard this from other sources that aren’t in the media, but connected to football. He had the company line prepared, but when emotions took over, the narrative he delivered was slightly different. It’ll be an interesting watch. I wish him all the best in his recovery
  4. The video shows part of the problem. The commentary team dictate the narrative. They were very generous in the assessment of the Daicos. Far less so of the May incident. The same way it’s been all season, and for years. The commentators all leapt to Maynard’s defence. And so the narrative begins. It’s horrendous. Kozzy pickett this year the same. Called as a thug and a sniper I. The media. Then another player does it and it’s clumsy. Different MRO outcome. Edit. I’d also like to add that I hate Nathan Jones commentating Dees games. He has fallen for the old ‘I need to barrack for the other team so I don’t appear bias’ mentality. Absolutely hate hearing him commentate our matches. He thought the Caleb Windsor sling was fine. It was over the boundary and unnecessary and would have been paid in any season before this one, but particularly this one.
  5. If true..i want her head. We, as a club, are under attack. You have Buckley slamming May this morning and also pot shottinv Brayshaw on the way through. Last week it’s the medicos. More stories on Oliver. It’s a barrage, and this weak President has been nowhere for months. I’m done. Spineless
  6. May put a heap of mayo on it, deserves the fine. However, it was not holding the ball. He had no prior and was making an attempt. The umpire should have blown a ball-up quicker, but the incessant whinging from North fans had spooked him. secondly, where was Daicos’ fine for this incident? I haven’t read the outraged media reports: Was he fined?
  7. While it was disappointing that we fell away in the last, we need to talk about the state of umpiring…fans whinging about the May free will drive the narrative all week, but let’s highlight a few ‘inconsistencies’: - 1st quarter. North given a 50 metre at Melbourne’s half forward line and it goes inside 50 for a shot on goal. That’s 80 metres - Sheezel drops the ball in a tackle. Play on - Scot lt caught it one tackle. Breaks the tackle. Gets nailed in a 2nd tackle. Ball up. - North bloke fakes a handball. Windsor moves off the mark, 50m. - TMac takes a mark, bloke stands…then moves off the mark.nothing to see here - the ball is bounced in the centre and goes a long way out of the circle..ends up a north advantage and is called play on - same thing happens at next bounce, we win it, play on - Petty mark not paid - TMac eyes on the ball and gets blocked in his jump, paid the other way to a guy blocking him. Crazy stuff If I were a conspiracy theorist, I’d say the AFL felt guilty about last week and were looking to square up with North. Laura Kane is an ex-Roo and made a clown of herself this week trying to justify the decisions in the match against Collingwood
  8. Where has Trac thrown shade on the reports?
  9. Completely embarrassing…an absolute grub who never faced the scrutiny the deserved…the Collingwood PR machine at it again…it’s incredible…the more this continues, the less I like the sport of Australian Rules Football…I can’t believe I’ve finally reached that point
  10. It will only serve to create more negative press and the Phantom President will continue to hide behind the curtain
  11. Lever still not right to go this week. [censored]
  12. Based on what, their fans saying so on social media?
  13. Full page spread on what a good bloke Moore is in tomorrow’s Sun. Only one who cares about Tracc. He has invited Maynard, who is bringing flowers and the wine. Best blokes ever
  14. Typical Wilson story..trying to drum a story off the back of Tom Morris dribble…Morris used to get the scoop on Melbourne stories but no longer really does. The family doesn’t want to make a statement..this is just bulls..t but it requires a statement from the Club immediately. The philosophy to not entertain these stories has not worked well for us lately. Earn ya keep Roffey
  15. Yep…and so it begins.. more destabilising. it really is time for a statement from our President..she has been MIA for too long
  16. Be prepared people…Footy Classified is going to be running a story tonight suggesting that Petracca be his family are angry at Melbourne ..you know where this is headed…soon he will be disgruntled…trade talk incoming…you know he grew up a Magpie and they showed so much care for him…you can just see the narrative coming
  17. No mention that he will miss, but they were doing a tackling drill and Kolt got Clarry and he got up grimacing and holding his hand.
  18. Clayton’s hand reinjured at training…clearly hasn’t been right all year.
  19. Ch. 7 about to report on the Dees. Seems like Oliver has suffered a fresh injury. Details to follow after the ads. Expecting more outstanding news
  20. If the coach’s directive was to leave the emotion out of it and not ruffle Maynard’s feathers, then it is a disgrace and shows just how soft of a club we are. In fact, we are a laughing stock again. That should have been the motivation. go back and looked how incensed Petracca was on the night it happened. Clarry, Viney and Gawn too. Petracca and Clarry shaking his hand and back slapping him. What the actual f… is that. Seriously. Weak as
  21. Correct. Any talk of a reset is nonsense. Maybe in previous seasons. We just lost our best player for the season…we have nothing to replace him with…we cleared our depth for Billings. I mean, we can give Tholstrup a shot against the Roos, but he ain’t changing the season’s trajectory. the problems run deep, and as I have said on other threads, this is a list management issue. The list has regressed every year since the flag. We can’t cover players who are injured or out of form. it is time to experiment. Put rivers in the middle against Norf. Try McVee. Who cares. It’s all on to 2025. side note, what were we doing recruiting Fullerton? I’d rather we went after Lobb? Where did all our money go after the salary dumps ?
  22. So the narrative now created by the media and gobbled up by footy fans all over social media is that Melbourne are at fault for causing Tracc’s injuries and that we have form because we also caused Brayshaw’s after not taking him off when he was kneed in the head. It’s time for the Club to stand up for itself and put something out from the top. Not bloody Alan Richardson. Roffey, the phantom, has been silent amidst all the 💩 slinging since last year. Stand up. You couldn’t deliver a training base, so do something useful.
  23. https://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/23l-of-blood-internal-bleeding-misdiagnosis-rules-mason-cox-out-of-anzac-day/news-story/11f9b4605c2da8bfd23bfff8f86d1ba2?amp just wondering why Collingwood’s medicos haven’t been subject to the same scrutiny for this.. very convenient
  24. They already have…you just have missed the month. Take the blinkers off. The cliff has come quickly. We are rooted
