Maynard must get at least four weeks
Absolutely he does. Have had a bit to do with him

Maynard must get at least four weeks
Get over guys…I am angered, but we have a game of football to win. MFC, if they are fair dinkum, will channel the aggression on Friday night and win. I’d be happy to win and get a few suspensions, just to make a point. Practice the flying smother bumps this week

POSTGAME: QF vs Collingwood
Protect himself from what? Brayshaw wasn’t contesting a ball, like the Cripps incident. Anyone that thinks Maynard didn’t know exactly what he was doing doesn’t know the character of the bloke. Fact is he turned the shoulder to bump him. He initiated the contact. He elected to leave the ground. It’s careless high impact. He is gone. It’s actually not much different to Kozzy on Smith this year. Initially Pickett jumped to affect the kick and then turns mid air

PREGAME: QF vs Collingwood
Listening to Jono Brown and Buckley having a crack at Garry Lyon over whether the Melbourne fans will turn up on Thursday on Fox Footy makes me wanna throw up. What is with these morons. The game is a sellout! Have they any idea? This myth about us having small crowds has been dispelled by stats again this year. Pizz of Bucks and Brown. Then having Lyon bow to there jibes and urge Dees fans to show up, just get stuffed

What They Are Saying at Victoria Park: QF 1
No mention of the fact we kicked 18 behinds last time we played them. The margin should have been +6 goals. A lot of excuses from Pies fans on the KB game. Completely ignored we were without 6 premiership players that day

Darcy Parish
Would rather Bailey Smith, and all his baggage (pardon the pun), than Parish. We would love more leg speed, something he doesn't offer.

CASEY: Rd 21 vs Carlton VFL
Bailey Laurie is a massive DELIST for mine. His fumble there on the forward flank shows limited football ability. Fwiw…this Casey team is plying big ordinary football. No cohesion at all

The Run Home
Wet conditions made our forward like look inept. Scrambley ply in the midfield led to poor entries. Time to right it against hawthorn. Grundy is not the answer. He once again played more ruck minutes and impacted the continuity of Gawn’s game. Good bloke. Good player. Unbalances our side. VFL today will be very interesting. We get a look at Schache and TMac. I would think one of those two has to be included for the finals to cover the absence of Petty. Say what you will about Schache, but at least he can mark and kick straight (mostly). he can play the Petty role, which is when we looked to have our most balanced side.

Grundy ain’t a forward and the conditions certainly did not help his cause. It’s unbalanced the structure though. It looked off. Rather Schache, who is a versatile, albeit soft, Footballer . We miss the 2nd genuine forward, and just didn’t seem to have much through the midfield tonight. The wet is our nemesis. Completely takes away that intercept marking game.
