Don't get me wrong the unionship of two brothers is a nice thought but it needs to be taken with a grain of salt for all intensive purposes..

    Listening on the radio that day in the kitchen at 11 years of age with my old man. Wasnt really old enough to have invested emotionally in the club, but remember jumping around with my balloon (indoor footy) wearing my royal blue Demons jumper (number 2 on the back) when we won. A memorable day of my childhood...football wise.

    MY GOD!!! They are three games into their careers, both completely different types of players and Toumpas is playing in a side that is a complete basket case right now.... Of course Wines is going to be a better prospect straight of the bat with his style of play and body type! The kids over 80kgs for Christ's sake!!! What a disgrace this entire thread is...

    While I appreciate this notion, another thing to remember is that MFC people offer no previous experience in the ultimate success within the VFL/AFL.Of course we need all the help we can get right now...that much I agree with. The other side of the coin is that we have already brought in people that have tasted success.... I don't think the club knows what it wants/needs right now....it might just require an ultimate leader to steer the ship and make these calls.

    I'M OUT TOO!! OUT on the [censored] that is...drowning my sorrows after 7 nights of night shift and last nights debacle but... I'll always stick by the Melbourne Football Club through thick and thin. 36 years of unfulfilled hope, 4 family memberships, constant flack from mates and plenty of disappointment... Hurts like hell right now but one day the tide has to turn. I don't know what the answer is right now for the club but the answer for me right now is the amber ale! Carn the DEE'S!!

    I signed my new born daughter up on Friday as asked the bloke how they felt membership numbers were going this year. He said they are only slightly behind where we were this time last year and given last year was literally the year from hell, where everything that could've gone wrong did go wrong, they were fairly pleased.
