Ill be honest...i know NOTHING about this years potential draftees... If we maintain pick 6 and dont land Parish...who are we likely to get best case? Surely there will be some form of potential gun up for grabs at pick 6?

Biding time and testing waters in order to get the best possible deals for the players we are targetting. Wouldn't you rather that than the club throwing picks away like candy, when better deals may arise as the trade period transpires. We are not Geelong (yet). Just started watching the Foxtel replay played this morning. Why the hell do i have to endure Eddie and the other clown shoes' biased drivel commentary? Making me sick. Edit - already a thread on it...sorry guys.

Watching the replay AGAIN...cant get enough! Have lost count though...of how many times we let Geelong get a centre clearance immediately after we kick a goal...to score an immediate (counter) goal. They just let all their hard work be undone in a matter of seconds. First world problems after a win like that...but really stood out.

I am watching last weeks replay again right now and i must say M Jones and Bail had much better games than i originally gave them credit for. Their forward line pressure was very good and they obviously played the roles they were asked to play by Roos. Not as surprised by the selections upon seeing the game once again on television.

I can't remember whether it was the North or Sydney game but i recall sitting in the then Southern Stand as an 11 year old with the Melbourne chant going around the entire ground. It was spine tingling. We smashed both of them in that finals series.

I was at the game so havent had the luxury of seeing a replay or analysing it. I will have a look as suggested. Regardless, he was under pressure ten out from the oppositions goal line. i imagine there was plenty calling for the ball at the time. Doesnt mean you have to give it. Sometimes a player calling for the ball has no idea if hes under the pump or not. Anyway...ive moved on, well done today Toump.

No...i just chose to touch on Toumpas if thats okay with you. I have never once paid out on him in this forum, but those mistakes today were on the higher end of the spectrum. He played well today...and as stated i want him to make it.

Toumpas disappointed me twice today. The ridiculous panicked handball in the square in the third that cost us...enough said. And going nack with the flight on the wing in the first, he stuck his hand up and did nothing when he should have taken the mark. BUT immediately after he ran about 150 hard metres to end up with a mark and shot on goal. All was forgiven. i hope he kicks on I really do..i want to like him so much.

I think we have to put things in perspective. We are playing a side that has comprehensively dismantled North and Collingwood. Both better teams than us.
