He didn’t actively speak to clubs last year or nominate a club. He won’t be back, I will put good money on it and await the meltdown on here when the details of the deal are announced.

Sorry Bub, don’t agree. The moment you tell a player they are welcome to “explore their options” and they choose a club they’d like to go to, you do lose the upper hand. Gold Coast are well aware Trac wanted out last year. We can pretend Trac can come back all we want…but it ain’t gonna happen. Therefore when it comes to the crunch, Gold Coast may well in fact have the upper hand and we’ll get what we’re given to the best of our ability.
