Hats of to Tomlinson. Playing small and absolutely braining them.

GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs St. Kilda
Keep two forwards in our forward half at all times, we win this game. First half of that second quarter we had no one one forward of 50 and it killed us. Viney getting caught with the ball was not his fault. He literally had nothing to go to. Would be hard to tell on TV.

That’s just off the back of demonstone’s article.

It’s called incorrect disposal dip [censored], it doesn’t matter if you’ve had “prior”.

The Dad’s army “we’re in premiership window”‘ strategy unraveling before our very eyes. Even better, in front of their own supporters.

The Guy Walker Story
Wish him all the best. Seems like a nice guy. He did say in an interview on SEN last year one of his biggest regrets is choosing to join Melbourne as opposed to offers he’d had from other clubs. Never sat right with me....but fair enough I guess.

That ‘goal’ he kicked from the boundary hit the post.

- Why we beat St.Kilda
Yeah we played a ripper there last week.- Why we beat St.Kilda
Unfortunately I agree. Only way I see us beating them is through the benefit of an extra days rest, after a solid game on a heavy 10 graded Flemington track, interstate. Hoping I’m wrong and the boys turn it on next week.- POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Fremantle
An unbelievable result with only 22 rounds to go.- POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Fremantle
Yeah....he’s a real dud.- VOTES: Rd 01 vs Fremantle
6. Lever 5. May 4. Mcdonald 3. Oliver 2. Langdon 1. Salem- POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Fremantle
Have finally managed to watch the entire game after work. While I understand some of the frustration on here, I don’t think there’s a need for panic stations just yet (perhaps because I watched the game knowing the result). While we were at times (very) rusty, we were in control all day and could easily have won by 7-8 goals with better kicking. Things I took out of it: - Gawn and Petracca had average games and will get much better. - Brayshaw was hot and cold but had a massively interrupted pre-season. Plenty of rust. - May and Lever have finally clicked and thank the lord for them. - Our small forwards were good and applied good forward pressure which is something we’ve badly missed. - Welcome back Tom Mac. I’ve missed you. - We will improve immensely with the inclusions of Viney, Brown, Weid, Hibberd and dare I say it Melksham. - Great first game from James Jordan. - I love Kozzy. Hoping for a more polished performance next week as we are going to need it. I’ll reserve judgement as to where we are at until post the Saints game. Go Dees.- Round 1 Crowd
Unfortunately couldn’t get there because of work. I’m about the size of 100 people post lockdown so would have made a difference if I got there.- GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs Fremantle
Livid I can’t get there today as I’m stuck working hotel quarantine. Hope those that make it along to the game enjoy a great day. Praying for a solid win first up. Go Dees.- PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Fremantle
A post I can seriously relate to. Perhaps one day Bitter we will share a beverage at a game. Sadly for the first two rounds, I will be sober with heavily sanitised hands working hotel quarantine and unable to attend.- Mark Williams Interview
Everything about him is “un-Melbourne”. That’s why I’m so glad to have him.- 40% discount from New Balance
4 memberships in this household and didn’t receive one email. How am I meant to maintain my reputation as a New Balance ambassador in Eltham without these new codes god dammit?!- Mark Maclure "Soft Culture" Comments
I just go to every game expecting a garbage performance and drink beer. That way I’m prepared for when it happens and the familiar pain is numbed, or I get a pleasant surprise when we win and all of a sudden I’m already well on my way to a bender.- Mark Maclure "Soft Culture" Comments
Even in the next 201 years, it’s highly unlikely.- POSTGAME: Practice Match vs Bulldogs
The fact that the article says the following, shows how much credit it should be given. They state they are grading the pre-season on one game. “We analyse and grade every team’s pre-season in our AAMI Community Series Report Card.“- POSTGAME: Practice Match vs Bulldogs
This just about covers everything that needs to be said. - Why we beat St.Kilda
