You slightly miss the point. The reason Goody is staying is that he has a contract. One that was extended on a whim. The players see that and must wonder what is going on too. Geelong are a genuine destination Club nowdays. Geelong offers a good lifestyle living in those Coastal towns and playing to adoring fans. I think it is a matter of how much that lifestyle appeals to the young Viney family. i will respect any decision he makes.

Not sure on contract status but I would enquire about Langdons brother at Collingwood. Out injured for all of 2020, played mostly deep back but I think has the ability and dash to play up the ground like his brother.
