  1. 6 - Viney 5 - Gawn 4 - Chandler 3 - Oliver 2 - Langdon 1 - Petracca
  2. Good win, sometimes you need to grind it out. I usually hate umpire bashing because I try take my Red and Blue glasses off but it is hard. But after scrolling through twitter I wasn't alone in thinking it was horrible and sided with Rich. Still some stuff to work out, Petty up fwd is done, only an in game move now. Our back flankers and pockets need to sort out who is going for the tackle or smother, they and May are all sitting back to get the easy kick. Gawn/Grundy can get back to it And Ben Brown is needed to start in that side, can be subbed if not affecting the game, but with Gawn and Grundy he is a threat. More than Melksham anyways
  3. Very concerning the amount of marks taken 40 out directly in front. Was the defence totally out of sorts. Also we need to practice hanballing more, to often we are making easy handballs hit the deck or handballing to someone that is "hot". Has been consistent since rd 2. Only a few that get a pass mark from today, which means the team was off, but that is twice now. This can't become a reoccurring issue!
  4. Out: Spargo (concussion), Tommo, T-Mac, Melk(Sub) In: Lever, JJ, BBB, Gawn Gawn only if he is 100%, and if not I think we have to consider Schache to chop out Grundy. Sparrow on high notice. Melksham never to be in the starting line up again please!
  5. So Max Gawn doesn't come back in. Or Salem? If there is a better option you use it
  6. That game was a hard watch. But did what we needed and the overpower the Eagles. I think Petty showed that although he was drafted as a forward, he has lost all forward craft. He has no leading patterns and looks uncomfortable being in front in marking contests, fine to swing fwd in games but I don't thing we can play him as a permanent forward. Agree or should we persist with him?
  7. As soon as he did that i thought the same thing, hopefully its just a fine. I don't wan't to sound as if we have chalked up the win but dont fly BB to WA, not needed so only change for me is: IN: Kossie Out: Brown I also think Sparrow might have to lift his game a bit, i know he is playing his part but Brayshaw, JJ, Pickett and Rivers can also play that part.
  8. One quarter. Keep it going, don't back off
  9. Rivers running with Mills, like it alot!
  10. Looks like it!
  11. I have a feeling the T-Mac "omission" is actually an injury or rest. The last quarter of the game last week he had a noticeable limp. I am worried about the work load JVR is going to have in his first game. and also how big Grundy's tank is atm, i have no worries that Grundy can't dominate his opponent but can he go for 80 - 85% of the game? Very intrigued with how this plays out, and hopefully out coaching staff have a good plan.
  12. Didn't he keep Cameron to 2 Goals? Is easily AFL standard and has played his role well as an undersized def v Dogs and then on the best small fwd in the game v Bris
  13. Not sure about copying. But Port Adel Magpies were established before Collingwood. So if anyone stole it, it was actually Collingwood
  14. i find this rather amusing this has come up again before round 3.
  15. It would become the Norwood v Port game, are the two most successful clubs in the SANFL and a long rivalry. Port hate Norwood as they backed out of joining the VFL in the mid 80's which meant they missed out and the crows were formed in 89 Had of it gone the way the VFL wanted Port and Norwood would have entered the VFL, meaning the Crows would have never existed. If only we had that world!
  16. I am a huge Norwood Reglegs fan, we were originally meant to be in the AFL along side Port before the Crows were even thought of! This will never happen and i'm glad it wont as it be big decision as to who i follow. As for the guernsey and Logo, they are different, be the same as Geel and NM really. Norwood just have a navy blue guernsey with red trimming, and they are the Redlegs not the Demons. would be interesting on the song though, Norwood's is different but thats the second verse.
  17. If we lost JJ and Rivers to free up $$ for Kossie then id be fine with them looking elsewhere. Ideally i want to keep all of them, but Kossie is the only one that can't be replaced like for like. I love Rivers but he is playing a position we have a plethora of players that can fill there, from a list management point of view we would be crazy to not look at any good offers for him!
  18. Those numbers are his CBAs for the last 6 games. He also had 27, 29, 32 and 38 disposals in those games. He was 100% in the middle for the last 6 games. It started against Freo when he lined up on his brother Agree I like him behind the ball after the CBA but starting in the midfield, and now even more so with the Gawn injury!
  19. Im not confused at all he player the last 6 games of 2022 in the middle. Including finals and was very good in there. Look up the heat maps and CBAs. 13, 19, 17, 22, and 16. Thats most definitely a midfielder
  20. Gus was outstanding in the middle in our last 4 games before finals. And was actually pretty good in the finals also. He is a very handy 4th midfielder in the rotation, agree Kossie is a big loss and a massive point of difference especially with changing angles.
  21. Out: Tommo, Harmes and Gawn In: May, JJ and JVR We have to be very careful about JVR and T-Macs work load in the ruck though. I actually think Schache is better suited for that role but unavailable. Tommo is unlucky but May is a lock. Hibbard has had a good game in the VFL but the backline has been ok, I wouldn't be against Brayshaw going back into the middle and Hibbo getting his flank/pocket. Harmes just hasn't got the runs on the board atm and I think rd 1 if Salem, May, Viney and Fritch were fit he probs wasn't in the B22.
  22. Virgin are a disgrace these days, always delayed, bump prices up for events or school holidays. Hope the rest of your weekend is enjoyable
  23. That's coming from Mitch, he would get that feeling from most players. And he would be right, most are better than him!
  24. Big time, 12 clearances in the GF. A hand in every crucial goal in the game almost
  25. I think this was the original set up before Salem'sinjury. Wouldn't be surprised if Harmes ends up Sub and Brayshaw back into the midfield rotations
